Cayomango Steak, Seafood & Drinks — Restaurant in Mesa

We stopped in after seeing the reviews and were given menus. It wasn't busy and were seated at a booth in the bar...and waited. The bartender was chatting with a patron and didn't acknowledge us. I waited almost 10 minutes before getting up and asked if I needed to order at the bar. The lady at the hostess podium took my drink order. Shortly afterwards, the waitress showed up with chips and salsa. I told her I was ordering a drink and some food to go while I waited. I ordered a couple of shrimp cocktails and shrimp tacos and a couple other things. My tab was over $100. When we got home to eat we had a mountain of condiments, chips, and not a single lime or hot sauce. Lime is essential to shrimp, especially shrimp cocktail. Cocktails had cucumber and shrimp & no avocado or anything else. It was so incredibly off balance and ruined our dinner to not have a single lime to add to our cocktails and shrimp tacos. Yet we got so much cheap mayonnaise and catsup and chips that we didn't need or use. We felt like we wasted our money 💰 also while we waited I had to go to my car and there were like 3 or 4 workers outdide- one mopping the entrance making it slippery to enter and exit. Not the right time to be mopping the the only way to enter/exit. Weird and unpleasant...

I went to cayomango thinking i was gonna enjoy the food. As soon as we sat there service was bad server came and mentioned they were closing at 11pm, when online it saids at 12am. I felt i was rush on trying to find what to eat. I got a camaron quesadilla and my partner got tostada aguachile. When they brought the food i ask the server if the had sour cream the server mention they didnt have none and as she was walking away she try to offer me ranch. What mexican restaurant doesn't have ranch. I ask for a side of guacamole and again she mention they didnt have none but try to offer me a a guacamole that was $12 when i had a small quesadilla. Finally, when we were about to pay we saw the receipt and in the menu the prices where different from the check they brought us. We try to fix the issue yet server was giving us excuses. We ask for a manager and they took long, as soon as she came back the server mention the manager was to busy. I work in the restaurant and im 100% my restaurant wouldn't let this issue occurred. Music was way too loud, could not hear the person next to me in the slightest bit. My ears hurt, we had a group of 8 go. Worst service I have ever experienced and they forced an 18% tip because our group was 6+ people. My husband ordered a plate with fries, they never gave him the fries. My husband asked for water 3 times and they took nearly an hour to finally get it to him. Never came around during our meal to ask how things were going or to refill waters. We finally asked another waitress because our waitress completely disappeared and we were done eating. And then they added the 18% tip as part of the bill. Unbelievable. All 8 of us were disappointed and we will never come back. I’ve also had much better food for less than half the price. Couldn’t talk at all until after we left the restaurant cause the music was way too loud. I’ve never left a restaurant...
