Ms K's Pralines — Local services in Metairie

DO NOT GO HERE! The pralines are not good and the owner of the store has a very nasty unprofessional attitude! I was rudely rushed to try to place an order and the owner of the store rudely said that I didn't have to buy anything! When you are in business, you don't EVER treat a paying customer nasty! One of the employees was nice enough to let me sample one of the pralines, and after tasting the praline, the recipe is not good at all! There are way better tasting pralines in the New Orleans area. The owner of this store does not have room to be rude to customers because what she selling is not good enough for her to stay in business and keep her doors open! Don't waste your time and money with an establishment where the owner herself lacks customer service skills and treats paying customers rude. I've never been treated that nasty when I'm a paying customer! They act strange about parking too, some strange customer told me to move because I had parked in the owner's park, and there was no sign stating it was reserved for owner. I will never go there again or suggest her praline store! She only had two or three pralines even to sell.Try Southern Candymakers in New Orleans, they have the best by far with variety and taste with their praline recipes. We stopped at Ms K’s today, exploring the area before our flight back to Los Angeles after spending a week long conference in New Orleans. I was hoping to buy some authentic pralines for my team back home. It was such a breath of fresh air to come here. She was working her butt off, making rum flavored pralines and gave us a few tips, and samples. I felt an immediate connection compared to the commercial praline shops we visited in the tourist areas where my conference was held. Today I went Ms K’s for the first time. Ms. K was so down to earth and so nice. She’s a very sweet woman. The Pralines I purchased went so damn fast. I hated I had to share it. When I tell you it’s the BOMB, her Pralines are the best. I went there today around 2:00 P.M. and it’s now 8:39 P.M. and the candy is gone. I should have purchased more. Her prices are very reasonable. I hate that she’s closed tomorrow. I will be taking a drive back out there to purchase some more candy on Monday morning. This time I will purchase more.
