Like, okay, pop off, but I did have to walk over to their table and gently interrupt the group chat just to ask for a menu. To be fair, they were super sweet once I pried them away from TikTok.

I sat down and ordered the deconstructed banh mi with meatballs because, you know, I’m fancy. When it hit the table, I’ll admit the presentation was gorgeous. Like, influencer-level beautiful. But then… the bread. Tragic. Stale enough to double as a doorstop.

And listen, I’m not afraid to splurge on good food, but $35 for a deconstructed sandwich with stale bread is a lot, even for me and my bougie taste buds.

Ba Chi is a top notch restaurant and bar. From the food down to the decor, the entire experience is a vibe. The owners are often on site and their passion for food and being restauranteurs truly shows in every way. My personal favorite is their Bon Bo Huey (one of the best I’ve had) and a friend of mine always gets the “beef stew” with roti bread and a few (3) bacos. My son was absolutely enamored with the Phat seafood platter consisting of snow crab, dungeonous crab, mussels, and shrimp (truly amazing)! I honestly can’t say enough good things about Ba Chi. Great Food, Great Drinks, Great Decor, and Great People too. I highly reccomend you go see them for lunch, dinner, or even a private event.
