On behalf of my entire family, we are VERY grateful and extremely appreciative for the owners, managers, and love/care givers at NOLA @Home Care. We moved our dad, who is suffering with dementia, out of a local nursing home, 2 weeks before the start of Covid-19 and we made the best decision ever! We interviewed several home care agencies and without a doubt, we could "feel" that Nola @Home Care was the best option for us, and we were right! We have the upmost trust with the care team and appreciate the great communication and assistance in making this transition out of the nursing home. Dad, and the family have never been happier! Dad's health and quality of life has significantly improved! It hurts me so bad hearing the stories (close to us) of what is going on in these homes and reading the newspaper article today that says about a third of all the deaths in CV-19 originated in nursing homes is frightening. If you are looking for a company to come into your home and provide care for a parent or loved one during a difficult time in life, Nola @ Home Care is by far superior to any other company. Brian and his team meet with you and more importantly they meet with your family member to get to know them and their needs. His team gets together and creates a custom plan with caregivers who are handpicked for your loved one. The amount of thought and consideration that goes into the care they provide is unmatched. There is a constant line of communication between the caregivers and Brian. He is actively involved in every aspect of the company. Outside of just caring for my dad, Brian and his team constantly help me come up with different ideas and solutions for helping my dad, who has dementia. I wish to leave a review about the caregivers that I have coming to my home. Both of the ladies are the best caregivers I've ever encountered. I was so nervous when my family said I needed to have someone with me during the day. Last time they said that, the friend we had come... well let's just say she's no longer my friend. Sad, but moving forward. The Nola Home Care ladies are my new friends and they help me so much. First they come everyday. On time too. I look forward to seeing them so much. They are always smiling and want to talk with me, ask me how I'm feeling, maybe what we should get ready for lunch or any errands for the day. Oh and appointments too. They help me take a shower and even do my hair real nice. Sometimes my nails too. I just like them so much and am very thankful.
