Valvoline Express Care @ Mexia — Local services in Mexia

I got a regular oil change at Valvoline in Mexia on July 25th. I have a Jeep Wagoneer that I only had for 2 months at that time. I needed and oil change because we took a long trip to Missouri. Soon after, I started to have trouble with the car... the same one that gave me zero problems all the way to Missouri and back!!! The car started to run hotter than normal, the gauge was reading about 3/4 of the way to hot, and the a/c started to blow hot air. I took it into the dealership and they determined that it was because the coolant had been mixed and coagulated causing the radiator to clog and the thermostat to stick. The only place it was taken was to Valvoline. When I spoke to them they confirmed that it is on camera that their service guy put coolant in my car and that the coolant they used isn't recommended for my car. This mistake costed me $2,086 not including the $120 oil change from them that had to be redone. I contacted HR several weeks ago and have received no answers from them. Leaving a bad review is the last thing that I wanted to do. I have tried to settle this matter with them without publicizing my discontent. However, I am getting put off longer and longer. The employees at the location are great but the owner is a real piece of work. While getting new windshield wipers one of the employees made a mistake and cracked my wind shield in early June 2022 and contacted management and told me to get it repaired at a place of my choice and bring them the invoice and they would reimburse me . It is now August 2022 and despite the local managers efforts the owner still has not sent me a check for the repairs. He is impossible to contact and unprofessional in this response . They have lost 4 customers now because of the poor actions...

When I first pulled up to get a service they told me that the computer was down and they could not do any services So I told them I would come back later. So upon my return they told me that they did not have a filter to fit my truck or the oil I used they only had one quart left. I don't know why they were even open. I had done business at this location for years but since this new company took over it is a real joke. My advice would be to stay away I know that I will be and that's for sure.
