EDIT FROM ORIGINAL 5* REVIEW BELOW... Great customer service fresh popcorn working recliners working sound system great experience good time! ... CAME TO WATCH TWO MOVIES... Today we came to watch Elemental at 145 and then Spiderman. At $115 3 adult tickets and 2 kid tickets, for the first movie it's to be expected but the young nice kid that's permanently stoned behind the counter was incredibly slow at getting us our food order. I can tolerate that we still made the movie. The second movie Spiderman he charger is for the wrong time which no biggie we found 5 seats together and sat then I went out grabbed the manager told him so he could update the seating chart to not cause an issue for their next showing. The manager proceeded to argue with me about needing to refund my credit card the 50bucks or whatever it was to fix it. I told him to refund it cash and ring it out as cash and itll balance but he'd already caused me to miss the first part of the movie and I was leaving to go watch the movie with my 4 kids. Nor did they even offer the 2 youngest the movie posters that I saw off to the side by the bathrooms as we were leaving. As a side note: Today's movies were theater 2 and 3 and the movies sound quality was ok but it was pretty quiet. As opposed to last week's was theater 1 and it was great. First experience night manager real nice lady. This time decent guy but lacks quality customer service and...
Read moreI like this theater except for the "pick your seats" routine. If you have not been there then it is difficult to know what you are picking. I basically knew where to go but when I arrived at my chosen seats a lady had brought her aged mother in a wheel chair and was in our seats. Instead of making them move we just moved to the seats behind them. But, sure enough, some people came and we were in their seats. They were going to make a scene so we moved again. A woman, seated close to where we were, said to them, "there are lots of empty seats. Just pick one of them!" "No!", they said. "they (the theater owners) want us to sit here". I noticed other people weren't sure exactly where to be so I think the "owners" should personally guide you as to where you picked. Yes, there are all sorts of markers to show you where to go but older people do not see so well. Especially in the dark! It's new to them and confusing when they have not done that before. I realized that and gave the old ladies a bit of slack. However, not all people are kind. They sit where they are told. Even if it was easy to move one seat back. And besides, there really isn't a bad seat in the theater unless it is too close to the screen and one has to look up. Those seats were full of kids anyway. There were probably 50 or more...
Read moreReally nice theater, so much nicer than regal in Joplin but poor customer service. Fairly clean but our seats could have used a wipe down. Our only real gripe was the manager who was so obviously annoyed with us/his life/his job and pretty rude. When the three of us walked in there was only a mom and daughter being served by an older gentleman. The manager waived us over to his side to help us, no greetings, no smile just an annoyed stare. It was our first time to the theater and we needed a second to look at the snack menu. When we started to order popcorn he cut us off to ask if we had tickets and we said yes and he kind of put his hands up and asked were they on our phones and we said yes and my mom pulled them up to show him and he just pointed to the scanner. Sorry it was our first time there and we didn’t know how the system worked and if you didn’t know, there are other theaters who do things differently. Being kind doesn’t mean you have to overdo it but you definitely shouldn’t huff and roll your...
