I came here about 2 months ago with horrible pain in my back that came out of nowhere on a Friday evening. I was sure it was sciatic-related, and my husband called around locally first thing Monday morning to see if anyone could get me in as a new patient. He spoke with Leona, who was the absolute sweetest & moved mountains and worked some kind of magic to get me in later that day. I saw Dr. V, and he was great. He asked me a lot of questions, listened patiently, and after a physical evaluation, told me I had a “locked up SI joint”. He explained what it meant, how it might have happened, and how we were going to make it better and work to prevent future reinjury. That day, he must have done 6 different things, including dry needling, electric stim, cupping, and whatever other magic he was working with. I got off that table feeling like a million bucks. I was literally in tears walking out the office on my first visit because the pain was GONE. It came back on and off (very slightly) for the next few weeks and I continued to come in once a week. Dr. V gave me my own homework of at-home stretches and specific movements to avoid, and a month later, I haven’t had a moment of soreness. From what I understand, having done my own research, this particular injury is commonly misdiagnosed and many people spend a long time in a lot of pain trying to figure it out. I’m very thankful this practice was first on my husband’s call list, that Leona is the caring person that she is and figured out how to get me in right away, and that Dr. V had the skills and knowledge to quickly address and fix the issue. Second chiropractor I've ever seen in my 60 years of life. I left a good review for the first chiropractor I've seen because, he honestly did a good job too and felt he deserved the good review. My daughter saw her chiropractor (in a different state) and through conversation with her and actually seeing the care she received I knew this wasn't the same experience I was getting with my current chiropractor. I decided to look around and see if I could get that quality of care my daughter received. Well-Dr. Vincent Adofoli is IT! I love the quality of care. He gets to know you and discusses all your concerns and has a clear understanding as to why you're there. I love that he is THE chiropractor in the office. The office is clean and Leona (the amazingly-nice woman at the front desk) is so helpful in making appointments, checking you in--the old fashioned way-and you're always greeted with a smile and by name because she really recognizes you and happy to see you. Wow! That's such a good feeling BEFORE you actually see Dr. Adofoli. He is also so kind - gentle and explains what's he's doing and offers some possibilities as to what's going on. He's HANDS-ON the whole time! No quick adjustment and out the door. If I'm having an issue elsewhere - he addresses it at that appointment and you walk out feeling like his every concern is to make you feel better and stay feeling good.
