Seasons Pizza — Restaurant in Middletown

Yup, I think this is the last time. I ordered over an hour ago. A Wednesday at 1130am, a medium pizza is not a typically busy time of day. I ordered through the app. It said 50 min. That's insane but ok. Maybe they have catering or drivers needed. Fine. 1215 rolls around. My husband, who is recovering from spinal surgery, is asking what's going on. I said idk. He gets a text saying they are on their way. Great. We live less than a mile away they should be there soon. 30 min. Rolls around....now we are at 1245. I call and ask. The lady says yeah she is on her way; that's what she said 30 min. ago. Apparently, 2 deliveries are happening. Meanwhile, my husband's pizza is sitting in a car for 30 min. The owner insists it is fine in a warming bag and will stay hot. My husband finally received the pizza moments later, and I asked him if it's hot he said , I'dll have to warm it in the microwave. I called back and let the lady know. That, NO, your warming bags are NOT ovens and will not keep a pizza fresh and warm for 30 freaking minutes.

I don't see us going back. So now my husband has to stand unnecessary putting pressure on his recently operated on back to warm an old cold pizza. $20, what a joke!!! My pizza was 8.99 plus $3.99 delivery fee, plus I gave a $5 tip for the less than 1 mile delivery. I always pay a healthy tip because these employers don't pay their drivers well. I've spent so much money there, and I'm extremely disappointed in not only the timing but the nonchalant response of an owner who just wants $$ while putting out a subpar product.

The pizza should have been remade fresh and the owner should have called since the delay was not due to our fault, but the previous delivery stop that caused our pizza to be out of the window initially promised when the order was placed. I'm sure my husband would have waited a little longer for fresh pizza instead of microwave pizza.

I would rate this place a zero if I could. I ordered 20 wings hot, extra well done with light sauce and old bay fries. The wings were so under cooked when I bit into one it started bleeding. The fries were steak and shoestring mixed together. I called back to the store to let them know about the mishaps. The first young lady I spoke with was very nice and friendly. She told me that she would provide me with a credit on my next visit or remake the order. I told her I would just take the credit. However, I recieved a call right back from an older, italian lady. She requested I bring the wings back after I was already told that was not necessary. Which, I didn't have a problem with taking them back since offered to bring them back when i originally called. So, I responded back to Middletown Pizza with the blooded chicken wings. The older Italian lady met me at the counter and requested to see the wings and fries. She opened the box and said oh no this isnt well done since I left the bloody chicken wing on top for her to see first. I totally understand everyone isnt honest but I offered in the very beginning to bring the undercooked wings and mixed up old bay fries back. I would eat at this place at least twice a week sometimes. Needless to say I will take my business elsewhere now. Hopefully, the raw chicken doesnt...

I have ordered food many times at Middletown Pizza over the years but recently things have changed and I'm not quite sure why. My last visit I had my daughter place an order so I could pick it up and when I stopped I walked up to the counter and waited 5 minutes as people looked at me and then finally a gentleman walked up to me and I gave him my name and he gave me an attitude like it was a problem for me to pick up my food. The cheesesteaks used to be fantastic but now they are at best subpar. The pizza is almost like they purchase the dough pre-made because they taste like and have the consistency like a store-bought Pizza. Whatever changes have occurred at this restaurant I really wish they would change everything back because over the years I have enjoyed the food and the atmosphere of Middletown Pizza. Until they can greet me with a smile and create a better food product I don't think I'll...
