Astral Castle — Local services in Midland

Astral Castle has been around for years. Dave, the proprietor, is very kind and helpful. He stocks a huge collection of alternative hobby supplies, collectable card games, board games, table top role playing games, and much more. If Dave doesn't have it in store, he always offers to order it.

Astral Castle also has two large rooms dedicated to patrons who wish to play said games. There is a large Magic: The Gathering player base that frequent the store. Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar products are sold here, with tables dedicated to these fantastic miniature war games.

If you are looking to pick up a new boardgame, or are interested in finding a new hobby, I very much recommend coming by and seeing what Astral Castle...

This is an amazing game store. It's so refreshing to find a place like this in such an industrial oriented city. There's s eider selection of games than even the big box stores, from board games to roleplaying, card games to figure based games like war hammer, this place does not disappoint. There are 2 game rooms with some creature comforts and tables to set up and play, visit with like minded individuals, and just take s little break from reality.

There is a reason this is a 4.8 + rated business. It’s clean, well ran, and really just a COOL store.

I can’t imagine a west Texas without this establishment. Each summer the owner closes for a bit for a long vacation and I always think to myself “I hope he comes back! We need this place!”
