Every time I go through the drive-thru at this Chick-fil-A, there’s an issue with something missing from my order. Specifically, whenever I order a soup or salad, they always forget to put a spoon or fork in the bag. The last four times I’ve gone, I’ve had no spoon for my soup and have had to either go inside to ask for one or circle back around the drive-thru. It’s frustrating and completely avoidable—just check the bag before handing it out.
The same goes for sauces. There have been several times I didn’t receive the sauces I requested, even though it’s one of the simplest parts of the order. Whoever is in charge of that process needs to do better.
Customer service has also been disappointing. Chick-fil-A is known for great service, but I haven’t experienced that here. There are times I’ve said “thank you” and gotten no response. Tonight, when my order was handed to me, the team member shoved the bag at me instead of handing it politely, didn’t say “have a good night,” and walked away. I had to call him back just to ask for a spoon, and even then he brought it without saying a word. That level of rudeness is not what Chick-fil-A is supposed to represent.
This location is not living up to the Chick-fil-A standard. I spend my money here and expect the service and attention to detail that the brand is known for. Right now, it’s honestly pathetic and sad to see how far off it...
Read moreThe parking is downright unsafe for people with kids. You have to pass through an extremely busy drive thru line and multiple lanes attempting to access the lot to get into the store - there are NO parking spots that you can choose that put you next to the store. Not only this, but the employees actually outside directing traffic outside did not appear to show regard to pedestrians attempting to cross - they waved traffic through right in front of me and my two small children (both under 5). This happened on the way in and on the way out as I stood attempting to keep my kids out of harms way. Some pickup trucks in Midland are so big that the driver can barely see me, and cannot see my kids at all. It took a drive thru customer stopping his car in front of me and waving me through to get me to my car safely. We were traveling and chose a CFA as a stop for bathrooms, much needed food, and a place for screaming car-bound kids to run around etc, so that is why I attempted such a parking lot. I also had driven more than 15 minutes out of my way to get here. But this experience was incredibly unnerving; the parking lot is an accident waiting to happen! Terrible design, no good management by the employees...
Read moreThe food was cold, and it was super strange because you know it's Chick -fil-A! They messed up our order, we didn't get one of our sandwiches (grilled chicken sandwich) I called because I didn't check the order until we arrived at home, they told me to pick it up until 2 weeks and I told the lady who was on the phone that I need it at the moment because that was my dinner and she apologized and told me to go back.
We went back for our missing sandwich, I brought my receipt and food so they can check it up. They gave us a free cookie and they refunded us the money for the missing sandwich.
The food tasted good as always, but even the sandwich that we were missing was cold. Chick-fil-A is good. I think it was just a bad experience this time, but I am still thankful that they gave us the missing sandwich. The refund wasn't necessary, but it was the manager's action for apologies. I like chick- fil-A, and I think this time it was just a bad experience. Next time, I'm gonna make sure everything is in the bag...
