*Beware of this money hungry company. They will not resolve their fraud as documented on the BBB, they will harass with emails and text. Stay away or get legal counsel because this company is lead by passive aggressive, unprofessional people….
Update: I’ve been trying to get this resolved, and since I didn’t get a clear answer from anyone, I went to speak in person to somebody. I found Brandon Lee, Senior Fitness Manager. Talked to him about my situation, said he would talk to someone else about this and call me back. He did call me back, only to say that the contract will just now go to month to month, and that I will still need to submit a 30 day cancellation form. I asked for a copy of the contract with the changes, and apparently I can’t have it. Sounds like when Noelle Owens wouldn’t print the contract out for me. This company is by far, the worst I have ever done business with. They will not take accountability for their fraudulent employees, it feels like on the other hand, they encourage their employees to be that way by not making things right.
Edit: I have already contacted both Midland locations, through phone and in person and no call back; when I was told Noelle would call me back. My guess is that the whole team is on the same page about deceiving their customers. I’ve also sent several emails to different people within your organization and out. I’ve also noticed the passive aggressive, bot reviews from your guys’ part (current and from months ago, {through edition}) as a way to reply to a customers concern. One of the reviews is from no other than Noelle Owens. Apparently she has time to review her own workplace, but not contact the customers back. The audacity. Unethical and unprofessional does not begin to cover it….
Beware of misleading information!! Noelle Owens signed me up for personal training and I was told that the contract would be month to month, but turns out the contract is a six month contract. Before signing, I asked Noelle to print out the contract so I could read it. She didn’t do it. I asked to see it on her computer and she said “I’m offended that you don’t trust me.” The contract strategically has “6M” instead of “6 MONTH” contract type. I have been trying to resolve this and nobody can help me. I sent an email to regional manager Greg Hines, and currently waiting on a reply. However, from all these negative reviews seems like I might need to get...
Read moreBe careful signing a contract. My husband is a pipeliner and never stays in one town for more than a few months. When he signed up to use this gym, he told them this and they offered him a month to month contract. He paid more a month, around $46, to do the month to month thing. Then he moved to a new job and called to cancel his membership. They told him it was cancelled. They kept charging us and month after month we kept calling to cancel! Then, a couple months ago we see a charge for $80 from a place called TruFit gym. We called, and they said they were heros fitness but under a different name. Again, we tried to clear this up but they would never have a manager call us back. So we disputed the charge through our bank. Our bank said they sent in a 12 month contract signed by my husband. THEY FLAT OUT LIED. He had agreed to a month to month and was paying MORE to have it that way and not only did they keep charging us, but then we got that $80 charge which is double what they normally charge from a gym in a whole different city we've never even been to! Our bank also charged us $30 for the investigation that they ultimately denied us because this gym has a so called contract....
Read moreDear Management,
My name is Erika, and I’m writing to raise a serious concern regarding my recent experience at your Meta location. On Monday (Labor Day), I called ahead to confirm whether childcare services were available, and I was informed that they were open. Based on this information, I made the 30-minute drive to the gym with my daughter.
However, upon arrival, I was told by Emma, the current operations manager, that the childcare facility was in fact closed. I explained that I had called in advance specifically to avoid this situation, and had I been informed correctly, I would not have brought my daughter.
What deeply concerns me is that Emma then suggested I leave my daughter in the car. Not only is this dangerous, but it is also illegal. Such a suggestion is completely unacceptable and puts both the gym's credibility and its members' trust at risk.
I request that this issue be addressed immediately. No parent should be misinformed about childcare services, nor should anyone be advised to leave a child unattended under any circumstances.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this...
