I would not recommend this bridal shop for alterations. I chose to just have the in-house seamstress alter my dress for my sister's wedding and it was a complete disaster. I had to take it back to her twice, and when I walked out the second time I left in tears. She left stains and snags on my bust area, completely changed the look of the dress with how she altered it and hacked the hem too short, then roughly sewed a scrap on the bottom to add length back on. The worker told me to try a baby wipe on the stains and that it "should" get the stains out cleanly.

Luckily, a different seamstress was able to fix her mistakes because all she did was shove the excess material on my bust underneath, so the second seamstress was able to bring the dress back to its regular form and start again. It left it all bunched up and made it look almost like I had scales. She also put the straps back on too close to my armpits, which made them not stay on my shoulders. She also shoved the excess strap material into the middle of the dress and roughly hand-sewn it back shut. Both times I went to pick my dress up after it had been altered, the seamstress wasn't there. I think she knew she messed it up and didn't want to face me. My sister, the bride, called to address this and they never called her back. I had to deal with them via Facebook messenger. I was grateful they fully refunded my alterations cost. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because my experience at Bliss Bridal was more than amazing! Erin, my stylist, was so kind and helpful and kept my budget and personal wants and vision in mind the entire time. She paid attention to details, asked about the wedding and theme and about my inspiration and went above and beyond to make me feel beautiful and happy even after I said yes to the dress which so happened to be the last one I tried on. The entire team here does a wonderful job following through up till the very end of your appointment through their apointment booking process, bridal questionnaire, getting to really know you at the beginning of your appointment, narrowing down dresses that really fit your personal style yet make you feel like a bride, interacting with the bride's guests, and making sure you feel your best throughout the appointment. It was an emotional day in the best way possible and was wholly supported by Erin and the Bliss Bridal team. I had the absolute best experience wedding dress shopping thanks to Erin! I came in not really knowing what I wanted, and she patiently guided me through trying different colors, textures, and styles. Erin has this amazing intuition—she could instantly tell when I wasn’t feeling a dress and when I was lighting up in one. She’d ask thoughtful questions about what I loved, and used that to help me discover exactly what I was looking for. When her next appointment canceled, she offered to let me stay longer, which gave me the time and space I needed—and because of that, I found my dress!
