I brought my macbook here for a suspected battery issue, knowing I would pay for a battery replacement. After a couple weeks of waiting I decided to call to get some kind of update on my computer, and I was told they’d call me back when it’s finished. Days go by and I decide to call again, still no update. Finally after waiting another week I called and the gentleman who answered asked me if I was given an update about my computers condition. I replied with no, and then I received the information that my computer battery has been changed 2 times since I dropped it off, and still refused to power on. I understand that my computer has an issue with another part and I would take it to apple to get properly diagnosed. During my visit with Apple, they inspected the repairs in order to diagnose my computer and obtained a loose screw that rolled around the battery and logic board. They informed me that my battery had been replaced with a generic one (which I was okay with). However, they showed me a photo of the plastic film on the battery that had not been removed, and insisted that along with the screw, this incident could have been dangerous. I left apple not only considering the costs of the full repair, but also the deposit that was made with Computers To Go - Midland, for the new battery to be installed incorrectly. To add onto that, my macbook was brought in with no scratches on the outside casing, as I have left it in a plastic shell since it was new, however I recieved my macbook with new scratches. I understand this could have easily been a result of the repair, but I also note that this could have been prevented. The expense of my macbook was decreased in value after taking it in for a repair, as not only the overall cosmetic condition but also the physical condition of my macbook was worsened.

BIG WASTE OF MONEY!!! I have gone there for 5 different occasions and they have never done a signal thing to help! I have taken my Ipod in there to get the screen replaced and sure enough the screen they put on fell off just 3 weeks later. I tried to take it back but they would not except it. I have also taken 2 of my computers in there for many different reasons and I have never gotten any help! the only reason I kept going back is because I was stupid and though "well maybe this time will be different" NOPE HASNT BEEN. Oh yeah, another story for you... I took one of my computers that I was working on in there because I didn't want to do cable management and asked them to do it for me. They took my 80$ and went right ahead and started working on it. A few days later I got a call from them saying that I could come pick it up again. Ever sense that day I have been having problems with my pc so I finally decided to get it checked somewhere else and guess what. the freaking idiots rewired it wrong and tried to jam one of the cords in a place it shouldn't be going. now I have to spend another freaking 80$ on a stupid motherboard. do yourself a favor and do not take...

CONSUMERS BEWARE! This is one of 2 negative reviews ever left by me. I do not leave them lightly. This place is TERRIBLE! I have edited my review to reply to the owner who is being completely dishonest in his reply. No one was verbally abusive to anyone and the damage done to my phone was during a 2nd repair that was paid for. Beyond that, my son was begged to do a positive review for this business, in exchange for a “cleaning”. Nothing was done for free and the owner refused to contact me when we it became clear he had done damage and forced a new employee to explain on pick up that the person responsible for repairing my device would not speak to us. Original review as follows - Took my phone in for screen repair and was left with a $1000 paper weight. The owner lies, mistreats employees, and has refused to take any responsibility for breaking a iPhone without filing a police report and taking him to small claims.
