This place looked like it was straight out of a Hallmark movie, so cute! Unfortunately that’s the best thing about my experience. I waited in line with a child for 10+ minutes behind one person while there was some sort of computer issue I gathered. Once I finally paid and got my skates on and made it over to the ice maybe 5 minutes later I skated for about 30 seconds, I made it maybe a 1/4 of the way around the ring, before an announcement was made that the Zamboni was coming out and would take 30 minutes to clear the ice. I had a child with me, it was snowing and cold, we were going to hold out for the Zamboni but that started having issues and looked like we would be out way past bed time if we stayed to get our moneys worth of skating. We asked for a refund because paying full price for tickets just to skate for 30 seconds and be left to wait 30+ minutes was frustrating, and were told too bad. Please either inform people that the Zamboni will be coming out in 5 minutes before they buy tickets, or give refunds,...
Read moreNot really worth $20 for 2 adults. It’s fun and all, the anticipation was cut short though right when I hit the ice and realized my skates were EXTREMELY dull. I fell down and injured my knee after 10min of skating. I am not a beginner. I’ve been skating off and on for years now and every other rink I make it on I am able to pick it up again like riding a bike but there was just something about the ice in this rink, choppy, snow all over the ice and when you hit snow or ice chips and your skates are not sharp. You will be going for an uncontrollable and dangerous ride or an elbow or knee into the hard ice. Do yourself a favor and visit an indoor ice rink where the ice is taken care of correctly. If you are learning or planning on letting lose your skate prowess. I would NOT choose this rink.
Also, the employees are really nice and it’s decent price but with the cons. It’s just too dangerous. I’d HIGHLY recommend bringing your own ice skates if you plan on using this...
Read moreCame on a Sunday. The rink had obviously not been smoothed out for the day since we came right after it opened. The rink was even melting on the sides. I heard from more than one family that the staff was not helpful at all and to not even bother trying to order refreshments. The skates weren’t sharpened, definitely need some new ones, they were falling apart and left cuts and bruises on our feet after less than an hour. But besides all of that, it’s a cute little rink to bring your family to on a day or night outting to...
