We lived in Midway for many years and loved going to this place. Today we just happen to be driving through and wanted to stop and grab some treats for our 1 hour drive home. My daughter mentioned she needed to use the restroom, that’s never been an issue before At the establishment. I was then told they no longer have a public restroom and I would need to have my daughter walk across the street to the park area. I was always under the assumption when you served food and had a seated establishment you were required to have a restroom available. I will no longer return to this establishment due to the way the young girl treated me when I asked for a restroom and I said the last time I was in There were restrooms available. Read moreIf there was a way to put 0/5 stars as an option I wouldn’t hesitate. The service was average, and atmosphere as with the rest of the area were quite neat and welcoming. The food however, we had some of there Caramel Apples. The apples though were old, mushy, well past their expiration. But the worst of it, was mold growing on the inside of the apples, but what disturbed me most was that it was also on the outer layer of apple. Meaning that it was noticed and just hidden by the Caramel, or it’s not so “nice end, high quality” and they don’t inspect or consider the condition of their items and ingredients. Got a small bag of assorted goodies and didn't bother to ask about prices because, well... I didn't expect it to come out to $75. A few Carmel apples, and a handful of chocolates...
Just shook my head as I paid and promised like most these types of places in the valley, vowed to never go back. Heber/Midway is slowly becoming the next Park City, and the business owners are way ahead by charging more and giving less everyday.
