I don't intend to ever return to this Aldi. I happen to be in Milford and needed just a few items. It looked as though the bread isle had not been stocked at all today. There was literally ONE banana in the box! No other bananas in the store! There was a BROKEN jar of pickles on the floor in front of the eggs. How long was that there? There was no effort being made by anyone to clean it up. Finally, I wanted to use cash instead of self check out. As I started putting my items on the belt, the man at the cash register walked away...didn't say a word to me and clearly he saw me putting items up to be checked out. Read moreAldi just recently opened in the Milford area and we were anxious to give it a try. The first day was so chaotic that we decided to wait until a more suitable evening time. There were few people there at the late hour so we really got a chance to walk around the place and take in the full experience. The selection of items was very good. We got everything that we needed to get and were happy with the prices. Just remember that when you go to Aldi to bring a quarter with you if you're going to use the shopping carts. Read moreAldi's is the greatest addition Milford has received in a minute. They're like a German Trader Joe's which in my book is a tremendous achievement. They have decent sales, good produce, and they change up their ethnic specialty foods often. They also have one of a kind items that no other place has like Spinach and Feta Strudels and Apple and Berry Strudels.
