Number One Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Milford

I ordered my food at 12:13pm. I waited until 1:13 and then called them. I asked where my food was and they said the didn't have my address which I had already given them when I ordered and they didn't have my phone number which I had already given them. I asked then how long and the driver said he was leaving immediately. I hung up and called back to see if they would b giving me a discount because of my wait and knowing my food would be cold. To my surprise they said it would be free. 30 minutes later, the driver arrived he had the credit card slip in hand. I told him they said my meal was free he said ok. He then received a phone call telling him to tell me it was not free. I was upset and called them from my phone. They tried to justify being late. They said they were busy, didn't have my address, didntdihave my phone number and it always takes an hour and a half... I told them that was not true. I fussed with them and in the end because they had already ran my credit card had the driver give me five dollars and told me that was all they could do. I will never order from them again. It's sad when these things happen. I am disappointed at the wishy washyness that this restaurant displayed. It was truly bad business. Oh and the best part they never gave me the drinks I ordered. I ordered through Doordash and placed my order as soon as they opened at 11 AM. My food was delivered quickly without issue. The food was not great. The Sesame Chicken was too chewy as if it had been reheated or overcooked. The pork fried rice was bland and tasted a little stale as if it was yesterday's rice. The Scallion Pancakes were fried to a crisp, not soft and chewy like they should be. The Barbecue Spare Ribs were good. They were moist and the meat was tender with the right amount of sauce.
