The Bookmatters Bookstore — Local services in Milford

I called all the way from San Diego, CA looking for a Mothers Day help for my mom who recently moved to OH and Kenzie was amazing help! Super kind, sweet and very patient with me considering I don't know much details about book categories lol. She offered me a book subscription (which I highly recommend!) and I though this was an amazing way to stay connected with my mother each month by her being able to stop by and pick up her hand pick monthly subscription! The Bookmatters is a wonderfully quaint bookstore with incredibly helpful staff and a wide variety of books and topics. I was able to find books on all of my interests, from cookbooks to self help to a wonderful book about fungi - something I never would have found or picked up for myself had the staff not been helpful and thoughtful in their recommendations. A special shoutout to Isa and Bailey on staff, who were super helpful and intentional with their recommendations. How have I not rated this place yet? I basically live here. I cannot explain what a freaking GEM this place is. I implore everyone to shop here. The ladies running it are just the coolest; they have great taste in books; they have cute merch; they offer the best events; and they are great about ordering books for you. Fantastic kids section, too. Cincinnati is so lucky to have this bookstore, and every one of you should make it a priority to go here at least once. (I promise you’ll be hooked after that.)...
