BaD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!! Please see photo attached to my name!!!! He undoubtedly grew! Pants came above his socks when sitting down. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!! Will not use again. Measured pants wrong. So we had to make a extra trip from Montgomery. Then they didn't want to work on the drop off day. Would have been cheaper to just go to Mens Warehouse !!!!!!!!! I would put neg 5 stars if I could. Customer service is key to a good business.
Seeing how there is no where to comment back... No 1st pants were TOO BIG in the waist no way they would fit. It was ordered by your lady and if there was a ? About his size and statue then you need to know your business and know what fit is needed. His only thing was no skinny leg pants. .Yes you did but said it had to be at open which is at 10. I will be in Prattville on Tuesday at 1. So it is sad that at your ERROR you don't want to work with the customer. But don't worry yourself. You measured wrong or ordered wrong, because I don't think he lost 5 or more lbs in a week. HUMMMMMMMM. The 1st pair of pants DIDN'T FIT IN THE WAIST! He drove from Montgomery to pick it up on Tuesday and had to return today. He had to rearrange his schedule to pick it up today. You would think with the error being on you that a 1 PM drop off on Tuesday would be fine. Tux rental should require 3 trips. Order, try on, and then return. Not 4 order, try on doesn't fit then have to return for a fit and then return. Someone is this business should know what fits, and what the customer needs. Mens warehouse would have been cheaper. I was good with the drop off on Sunday or Monday til we had to make a extra trip. But no worries it will be there at 5 to 530 on Monday. All customers can believe what they want, but when your pants don't fit in the waist I guess it's the customers fault for losing 5 or more lbs in a week. 6'4 and 150lbs. Then and on pick up both days.
Guess it goes to show, HE ORDERED NO YOU ORDERED, and if you would have thought that from the beginning then the right pants would have been ordered the first time. Funniest thing is he was told they were fine and that the suspenders would hold them up. LOL PANTS TO BiG Then when you checked his pants the sec time you had them pulled up so far it was ridiculous because his socks were showing and the exact words from the owner was it will be ok you will have on dress sock right. But let start from the start of the second day. NO ONE, NO ONE I repeat checked him til after he came to where I was sitting then he made it all the way back to the dressing room on the other side of the room before you checked what he had on. Read moreUpdate 6/4/16: Someone from the shop called and discussed my dissatisfaction from my earlier review, and I was told I would be given a partial refund. I was also told that a pair of replacement pants had been sent to the bride's home on the morning of the wedding so my husband could have a better fitting pair of pants. Unfortunately, no one told us those pants were even coming, so we didn't know about them until today (2 weeks later). I am glad that they tried to make it right by apologizing and offering a partial refund. However, the company still seems to have some issues with communicating with their suppliers and customers, so I still won't give them my business again, but at least there was an effort to fix it.
Original review, May 2016: live in Mobile, but my husband was recently a groomsman in a wedding, and the groom is from Prattville. We drove up 4 weeks before the wedding to have him measured for a tux rental. The day before the rehearsal, the groom texted us and said his tux didn't fit and had to be fixed, so we wanted to make sure the fit was correct. When my husband came out of the dressing room wearing the pants, he could hold the waistband out a foot in front of him. We tightened the adjustable straps on the sides, but they were still 8-10 inches too big. The attendant measured him again and said he lost 3 inches (he had actually gained a little weight). Even if that were true, the pants still would have been 5+ inches too big. They didn't have any other pants, so they had to tack them in so much that the back pockets puckered and folded over themselves. His butt looked saggy and sad, but that was the best they could do. The vest they gave him was also too big and had to be altered. The shirt was not only too small in the neck, but it also had 4 holes in it. They ended up trading the shirt and trying to give him a vest that was way too small, but ha had to stick with the altered original. The only other thing they offered was to give him suspenders to wear under his vest. They never apologized or admitted making any mistakes, they assured me that the measurements were correct both times even though they were drastically different, and they didn't offer to give us any sort of discount. We paid over $100 for a tux that really didn't look good. When we got to the wedding and met up with the rest of the bridal party, we found out that two other groomsmen had similar problems. I decided to do it because they were really friendly and why not? All I needed was a hem anyways and that was it, well this woman had already messed with my dress before I had met with her personally which I was told was normal bc they had pinned part of it, she added a Bussell when my dress already had one and she was very rude to me when I did meet with her. I asked her for a rough estimate or a quote several times and she refused to give me one, even said to not stress her. I was given a estimate by the people and they said $80 if that but she wouldn’t tell me anything, I walked in one of the times meeting her to her talking about me to another client which is very unprofessional keep in mind I was very nice the whole time, she also was supposed to fix my sleeves but she only fixed one and didn’t do the other I assume bc I complained to the owner, she was trying to charge me $145 so I had to speak to the owner and she seemed a little ill and dropped it to $100 and she payed the rest. Long story short the seamstress is very unprofessional, I personally think she was taking advantage of me being young and buying an expensive dress, I don’t recommend Ms. Motley to anyone.
