I brought my Baume & Mercier watch there for a battery and advised that they probably need to send it out because it requires a special tool. After insisting I wait, they couldn't put the back on properly because they didn't have the right tools. So, they asked me to return.

The next day I was informed that the watch needed a new movement. Apparently, they broke the movement. After asking me to pay for the movement, I refused. They agreed to fix it.

When I picked it up the following week, my beautiful watch could no longer keep time. You would think that they would check it before returning it.

My gut tells me that they never replaced the movement - just hoped that I would return to Florida before I noticed it was still broken - which is exactly what happened........

The jeweler was extremely rude and pushy. Before I even agreed to leave my ring with him, he had already pulled out the receipt slip and was already filing it out. When I said I needed time to think about his suggestions, he literally THREW my ring on the counter and walked away. My ring is over 130 years old!!
