SandCille Spa — Local services in Millcreek Township

Customers expect to be taken care of, not taken advantage of! Please stay away from this unprofessional and poorly-run spa! As you can read in other reviews, the customer service in this spa, and particularly by the owner, is absolutely atrocious. From last-minute cancelations, not willing to work with schedules, unannounced week-long closings, and a total lack of promised communication you will be sorry if you spend your money here.

We were visiting the Erie area for two weeks so I purchased my wife a $75.00 gift card for this spa to go and relax during our trip. Little did I know that they would cause far more stress than the were worth. Booking an appointment the first week was literally impossible, and the second week we were there they were closed the entire week. This closure was not told to me at the time of purchase, nor was advertised on their website.

When I asked for a refund since they were unable to book us, I was sternly told they weren't going to refund it since I purchased the gift certificate. I offered to forfeit the certificate to them but still no. I asked to speak with their manager and was told the Owner would call me the next day. Next day comes, of course I get no call from the Owner. Eventually, I get a call from the same person stating that the owner told them to tell me to sell the gift certificate to a friend or family member. I told them that was an unacceptable solution and would still like to speak with the Owner...That was over a month ago.

The owner obviously doesn't care about her clients. As the leader of the company, this lack of care is an example she sets for her other staff who would be providing services directly. Customers expect to be taken care of, not taken...

Sandcille is the only spa I go to in Erie because it is clean, top quality employees, and they have monthly specials so you can try out different services throughout the year if you are mindful about spending money on self-care items/services. I have been here for facials, manicures (they are SO luxurious and I like the fact that nothing smells too chemically), and I am returning for eyelash extension install and a full spa day a few days prior to my wedding. They are the only spa I trust to get me looking my best before my big day. I really love the atmosphere, and the hall way that leads from the nail area where the bathroom and individual rooms are is quiet and calming. My biggest recommendation, however, would be to call quite a bit ahead to get the times you desire. Their schedule fills up quickly in the summer as I learned last year, so I made sure to get on the books for July and August of this year months in advance. Highly...

I have been a regular customer at Sandcille for many years. And I would like to say that the last two times I have had Patrick for my Massage. And this past visit I was having a very bad morning and not only did he provide me a relaxing massage he turned my bad morning right around. He let me take a moment to vent when I got there and was able to accommodate my service and go above and beyond. I suggest everyone give Patrick a try if you’re looking for a massage but he gave me the experience and customer service that you don’t always see in today’s very mobile environment.
