Me and two other friends went to get the new Pokémon blooming waters and Prismatic Evolutions. The store opens at 10 so we got there at 8:30 and we were probably 7th, 8th, and 9th in line. The guy comes out at about 9:30 and hands out tickets for a raffle basically after we have been there for an hour (also drove an hour to get there) then says it will be randomly selected by the tickets and to come at 10:30 for the drawing. So at 10:30 there’s still people coming in getting tickets. People who showed up right on time got to buy things when me and my group were there TWO HOURS before they were. We got nothing. Wasted our whole morning there when if they would have went by the line order (which is what is fair) we all would have been able to get something. If they went by line order and we didn’t get everything because the people in front of us bought it all, that’s fair they beat us to the store. But what they did was completely unfair and ridiculous and honestly just the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Do not buy from this store because I...
Read moreChris Meir, store manager of the Millington GameStop location, made me a true believer of GameStop. I had just purchased a brand new XBOX ONE S and within the first 20 days of having it, the power source failed on me. I came in in panic mode due to me not purchasing the warranty from the initial purchase. Chris saw how passionate that I was over my purchase. No I didn't want my money back. No I didn't come in screaming and cursing. I came to him and he defined the true definition of empathy and allowed me to get a product, and he went over and beyond to ensure that I remain a customer. Customer service is something that is so frowned upon, and he also used this same situation as a learning experience for one of his store crew members as well. Speaking about exponential growth and leadership. Thank you GameStop for putting someone in the position to impact and enrich the...
Read moreIf I want it, they have it if they don't have it, they can get it. they go out of their way to make you feel actually like a customer and not just some bloke off the street. Most of their inventory is actually decently priced and affordable, and there was always running some kind of a deal. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for any type of video game merchandise of any kind. I don't like big corporations, but these guys run this particular store blankets not only privately owned but they're actually running the place like they actually want to work. They don't treat you like you're a bug or like you're irritating them. They take the time to answer your questions and treat you like you would normally...
