Placed the family’s order through the Chick-fil-A app a week or so after the reopening in August. We were happy the restaurant was back in business.
I arrived, drove around to the pick-up line specifically for mobile orders, and checked in. ‘This is really convenient,’ I thought, ‘and there’s only one car ahead of me.’
It was soon apparent that my joy was to be short-lived. There was a commotion at the lone car ahead of me. I was stuck behind a woman who had not placed her order in the app and was now just taking up space in the mobile drive-thru line.
Rather than being instructed to proceed around to the drive-thru line, or simply pull up a bit so others could get around, she instead sat and put in her mobile order, then had her food prepared while I had the unmitigated joy of being trapped behind her with my own order now in the car. I must’ve waited fifteen minutes. By the time I got home, the food was cold. I was so ashamed to admit to my loved ones that I had scarfed an entire (warm) medium fry while I was held up in the car.
Fine, they’re working the system out. No problem.
Then my husband went, as the sirens’ song of that chicken beckoned. Same deal: mobile order/mobile drive-thru. He sat ten minutes for just our food, then had to turn around halfway home because he realized the drink order was wrong. Chicken was lukewarm, and the kid’s milkshake was at least a third of the way melted.
We didn’t have Chick-fil-A for months, so I figure we’ll be okay without it for the foreseeable future.
Godspeed if you order with the mobile app and go through the mobile order drive-thru. I recommend the medium waffle fries for sustenance...

In May we were in the drive thru, placed an order and paid with a Credit Card. As we moved up through the line, we were stopped by a Chick employee to verify our order. She looked at her tablet and said okay. We arrived at the window and were told our credit card didn't go through and they ran it again. Feeling uncomfortable about what just happened we checked our Credit Card account on the App & found we were charged twice - once for our order and once for someone else's. We brought it to the store Manager's attention and were told we would be refunded once it posted to our account, which meant we had to make another trip to the store. This brings us to June 22 Deja Vu. We come to Chick-fil-A, go through the drive thru, place an order and pay with the Credit Card. We got to the window and are told the card didn't go through. They ran it again, fortunately we were only charged once and not for someone else's order; however, when we arrived home, the order was not filled correctly. Ordered (1) Chick Wrap-Avocado dressing (1) 5 pc Grilled Nuggets (1) Cobb Salad-Avocado dressing

Read moreVery disappointed in this place. I went through the drive-thru on the morning of the 19th of December, with a simple order for one person. After I received my order I realized that they had forgot to complete the order. I went back through the drive-thru and made them aware of the issue. I was asked to pull around so that they could complete the order, but when I got there the person assembling the orders was very rude to the lady that was handing orders to the customers outside. I showed my receipt, but there was no care. Only defense that she did not mess up. After leaving, I realized that her treatment of the other employee was extremely unfair, so I called the manager, only because I did not like seeing people treated unfairly. The manager said they were going to do something, however I do not even believe that they really cared. Very disappointed, always believed that this franchise was a step above these types of behaviors. , I genuinely never leave a bad Google review, only positive ones. This one just impacted me watching the poor employee get treated so bad by the other.
