We went and got the buffet. Friday night is a seafood buffet. I wish we wouldn't have. I think it was 17 dollars per adult. It was not worth that. The noodles were so overcooked that they were mush. The fish tasted fishy. I was excited to see that they had the stuff fried crab. It was so greasy and soggy. And the taste was horrible. I took 1 bite and spit it out in my napkin. On the first trip, I had 2 things on my plate. They had run out of everything and needed to restock it. Okay, no big deal. So I go back. The peel and eat shrimp were half frozen. Frozen so much so you couldn't chew them. Our waitress was okay. Had to hunt her down for tea. When I asked her to bring an extra glass of tea with no ice so she wouldn't be running so much, I looked at mw like I had 2 heads. I had to explain to her why. When she brought it out, it had ice. My husband just poured it from that glass to his. It had so much ice that the glass wasn't half full with tea. The next 3 times he needed refills, we had to hunt her down. Only bringing 1 glass at a time. I hate the food kind of sucked. There are not many places in Millington that aren't Mexican places. Hopefully they can get it figured out. From the sound of it we weren't the only ones that had issues. We over heard several tables talking bad about the food...
Read moreI'll start off by saying the Olympic Steakhouse is my #1 favorite restaurant. Also, I believe that all people are equal despite our differences...
I’ve dined at this location on three separate occasions, and each time, my African-American family was seated in a section clearly separated from White patrons. It wasn’t subtle — it was blatant. On all three visits (2019, 2022, 2025), we were placed in isolated areas, despite other parts of the restaurant being open.
What made the experience even more disturbing was that other African-American customers visibly noticed the same pattern and exchanged looks with us, as if to say, “This is happening to you too?” It was obvious.
This is completely unacceptable. No family should be made to feel singled out or segregated because of their race. Management needs to take immediate responsibility and address this behavior with their staff. Intentional or not, this kind of treatment sends a harmful and discriminatory message.
This establishment is not recommended until this issue is addressed and corrected. My advice is to visit the locations in Atoka or Arlington if you are African American. Race is never a factor at these locations, and I have visited both at least a...
Read moreThis was the first time that my family and I have eaten at Olympic Steak and Pizza. We decided to try the Millington location and were very pleased from the moment that we walked in up until we left. The staff at the front welcomed us upon arriving and even let us know that he would be right with us after completing the transaction with a customer. The hostess arrived immediately to sit us at a booth and provide us with menus. Immediately after she left, our server, Mark, came to introduce himself, asked how we were doing, and took our drink orders. He was very professional, kind, and worked quickly. We enjoyed the salad bar, our drinks, the bread sticks, and our entrees. All of our food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Mark made sure that we were fine but didn't go overboard. Basically, he was the perfect host and server. We will definitely return to this location very soon. To all of the staff at Olympic Steak and Pizza in Millington: Please keep up the good work, the wonderful quality of food, and the...
