Lee's Supermarket Milpitas — Local services in Milpitas

I actually really like this supermarket but the owner is very angry and mean. We usually like to park in the supermarket parking lot, grab some dim sum from across the street and then shop at the market after but today- the owner chased after us after we parked- screaming and threatening to tow our car. It was a jarring and frankly distressing experience to be the recipient of such vitriol especially because we had our young children with us.

I get the owner likely has issues with Pho Kim Long customers parking in his parking lot and taking up space but it's just not efficient and just plain bad publicity for his market for him to personally police every car that comes by and threaten people. Does it not occur to him that there is a cross section of customers who like to eat and grocery shop afterwards?

This is a hard review for me to write especially because I actually shop here every week and have spent thousands here since they opened in late May/early June. Their employees are nice and produce is genuinely good. I was waiting for this grocery store to open for years and was a happy customer with Lees but now...he treated my family like scum of the earth...I don't know if I can shop here again unless they do something to rectify this behavior. I guess I will have to drive further to another...

Super furious and outrageous, a few months ago I was in Vietnam, so my mom didn't get to tell me the news until now while she was cooking. She told me how she bought meat produce from Lee's Supermarket on Senter Road in San Jose and how it went bad the following night even though the meat was red and seemed "fresh" and mind you was still contained in the meat container. She made a complaint to the market but instead of an apology that they made a mistake and should have thoroughly checked their produce or even empathizing for their produce nearly harming someone, they simply said too bad and that they don't know. My mom didn't have the receipt and still they wouldn't compensate her in any way. Had my mom not have a keen nose for rotten food, someone could have seriously been effected by rotten meat. NEVER BUY MEAT FROM HERE, they do not care and simply put THEY WILL NOT CHANGE, they didn't say how they would check in the future. Seriously disappointed by my fellow Vietnamese community. Will be reporting to Yelp Reviews because I am truly disgusted by how they handle service and food that could have sent someone to...

The prices of some vegetables and meats are good deals but unfortunately they are not fresh. Attitude of cashiers were bad. I tried to check out at the lane that no customer but only cashier who was talking to a woman that had finished shopping. The cashier waved her hand and asked me to go to another lane…!? When I asked the second cashier if there’s any rice plate or sandwich ready? She told me those won’t be ready until noontime, and also, “ Cashier won’t take care of those soon, you need to go to the deli”, she said. As I asked her when deli will be opened ? She said some time in July…no exactly date ! Right after I paid, she asked me if the shopping cart behind the conveyor belt was mine? “ You need to put back where you got it !!” She said with a mean voice. We are seniors. Please, sometimes we forget things easily. We are definitely NOT to go...
