If you're new to CrossFit, want to find a fitness community, or just want to get up and move a few times a week with friends-- this is the place to go. After my old gym closed and I shopped around, I was looking for a place that could foster a community and consistent encouragement to keep me active in CrossFit and lifting. North Strong is IT.
The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always quick to offer advice and encouragement. The members will always cheer you on, make you push yourself harder, and will keep you coming back to see your gym friends every single week. Also: there's a variety of gym dogs that come around.
I've been doing CrossFit since 2019. This is the place that has allowed me to push myself to try new skills, to hit new goals, to hit PR's-- and it's also the gym that's made me feel the most comfortable, day in and day out. It doesn't matter your skill or size or ability-- North Strong coaches and members will always find a way to make you leave with a...

Been showing up since late last summer and I still donât know if Iâm here for the fitness or the playlist. Either way, I leave drenched in sweat and joy (and occasionally dog fur).
The community? Top-tier. These are the kind of people who cheer you on while you question every life decision that led you to doing burpees at 6am. Youâll laugh, youâll cry, youâll PR. And yes, you can bring your dog, which is great because mine is more emotionally stable than I am mid-workout.
Summer warmup runs? Awful. Terrible. Would rate 0/10. But the faster you run, the faster youâre doneâand also the faster you can collapse in a dramatic heap and pretend it was all worth it (it was).
Basically, if youâre into loud music, heavy weights, and borderline chaos in the best...

From day one, the coaches made me feel like part of the communityâkind, competent, and somehow able to correct my form without making me feel broken. The members are just as friendly, and beyond the workouts, the gym is very social. There's always something fun happeningâtrivia, pickleball, drinks, and driving an hour outside the city to cheer each other on while competing and eating questionable Italian afterwards.
We also have a great mobility class every Saturday to help you piece your body back together just so you can destroy...
