Extremely rude staff. I went in with a friend and they didn't even acknowledge us being there. The woman at the front counter didn't say a word to me except for the total, and simply stared at me waiting to order. We were the only people in the place, so I cannot even give the benefit of a doubt. When our drinks were ready, they simply pointed to them and said "they're right there" several minutes after they were ready instead of when they were actually ready. No thank you, no have a nice day, nothing that even meets the minimum of adequate customer service. It felt like we were imposing on them with our business. I love to support small local business and it's part of the reason I'm willing to pay $5 for a black coffee in the first place. The rude staff is not an isolated incident I have been in here several times over the last couple of years and it is like this more times than not. This is the only local coffee shop I experience this hostility. If the drinks/coffee were mind blowing I would give a higher rating, but they are fairly standard. The hostile staff really puts a bad taste in mouth, and I would not recommend unfortunately. I want to like this place, but it is simply the staff that...

Great spot for coffee in NE! The atmosphere and overall vibe of this place is awesome. I love the retro and artsy decor, plus the layout of the whole cafe is nice as it's spread out over several, semi-distinct rooms. The service here was great, and the food and drink were decent. The sweet potato muffin I tried was quite good—I think the texture of the sweet potato really lends itself well to create that perfectly moist muffin. My partner tried a chicken salad sandwich, and this was also pretty good. The coffee was decent—I found my flavored drink to lean a little on the sweet side, but it was a pumpkin pie latte which in general is known to be very sweet anywhere you get it. I would say that the quality of the coffee was okay, definitely a bit better than average!

Overall I think this place is great. It seems like an excellent spot to meet up with friends and chat, or sit and get a little work done. I really do love the space here and I'm sure I'll be back soon! I definitely recommend checking it out if you live...

I’ve been coming to Diamonds since 2019, and the atmosphere is great! Perfect place to have a coffee and work on a laptop.

The quality of the food has declined and is very inconsistent now. The breakfast burrito used to be a big burrito and now it is very small. The BLTs used to have a generous portion of bacon and now it’s only a few slices. The beverages have stayed the same since I’ve been coming here.

Service is lacking… it takes an excessive amount of time to get the food after ordering. Not everyone who works there is friendly, some employees seem annoyed in general. Last time I was there on my lunch break, supposed to be 30 minutes, and ordered just a BLT. I waited 35 minutes, and I ending up leaving without my sandwich… I checked in with them after waiting about 20 minutes to which they said “It’s not done. We’re working on it” … I can make a BLT at home faster than 30 minutes for less than the $13 I paid. It shouldn’t take that long at a cafe since I’m paying for the food...

got the turtle mocha and you could’ve told me it was straight up chocolate milk, and i would believe you. no caramel flavor or coffee flavor. definitely not worth $5.50 for what seemed like watered down chocolate milk. the breakfast burrito was okay, not worth the $7.50, and honestly majority of it was…. red onion and tortilla. it looked more like a quesadilla because there wasn’t a lot of filling. i was taking bites of pure red onion. website says masks are required which i find laughable because the workers were not wearing masks, nor gloves when switching from doing the dishes to preparing the food. one of the workers was especially unpleasant/rude and seemed under the influence of something. the other worker was friendly though. extremely slow service too, when we were the only ones there. cute atmosphere though.

I’d choose Diamonds with it’s vintage decor and grittier feel over most of the newer, more sterile/minimalist shoppes. My cappuccino was pretty good and the menu looked good for food. Diamonds is a place I feel very comfortable for sitting and chatting and working at. Snug booths/nooks, comfortable old chairs. Personal tastes of course may vary.
