Customer service that is usually only dreamed about!

I was in Minneapolis this past weekend visiting family. I bought a mini gear cube. I live in another state and didn't take the receipt when offered (mental head slap).

When I got home (4 hours away), I opened it and a piece fell off. I called the store and just asked if there was anything they could do. I said I 100% understood if there wasn't since I dont live in Minneapolis and I didn't take a receipt.

Not only did they my remember the COLOR I purchased, but said they would put one behind the counter with my name on it for my family to pick up for me!!!

It made my day and I will recommend this store...

Had no intention of stopping in but you can’t walk down the street with a 3 year old and they don’t beg you to go in to this store. Such a lovely experience, Emily was truly so kind and patient with my nephew. I had no intention of buying a toy, we told her we were just browsing (he has a lot already) and she so sweetly showed him the train play station and encouraged him to just play with the trains with zero pressure to buy. He loved it so much and played for probably 30 mins. She helped us pick out a train themed activity book in lieu of a toy. They have incredible selection and customer service to match. The toy store itself is absolutely amazing and has a much more unique selection of toys than you’ll find at target etc. But I’m even more impressed by their customer service. My husband and I stopped to get a present for a birthday party (on our way to the party 😅) with our 4 and 2 year old and 1 month old baby. I’m sure we appeared frazzled but the kind woman working was so gracious as our kids ran around the store. At the checkout she wrapped the present for us, got me a card and pen and let me fill it out while standing there. She told me “it takes a village” and I honestly could have cried in that moment....
