I had the opportunity to work with Jen and Kelsey when I asked for their help in creating an engagement ring for my fiance (she said, yes!). I really wanted to create a ring that would be timeless and would also be a personalized, one of a kind ring.

I went in with a basic idea of what I knew my fiance wanted and also what I wanted. I gave Jen my budget and some some general ideas of what I wanted the ring to look like and when I would like to propose. Jen shared her ideas and we came up with a basic design. She then sent me computer aided design images with what the ring would look like and asked what I thought. Together, we tweaked the design until it was exactly what I wanted.

After we had the ring designed we began looking at diamonds. I looked at several options and decided on a non GIA certified diamond for the main stone. After I had the ring appraised, I found that Jen's professional expertise was spot on. The diamond rated right where she said it would on the GIA scales and saved me quite a bit of money.

After we had the main stone Jen started looking for diamonds for the two halos. Through her suppliers, Jen found beautiful natural pink diamonds, something I didn't know existed. They were perfect for the ring and really fit my finance's taste.

After selecting all the stones we handed the design over to Kelsey who brought the ring to life. I could not believe how amazing the finished product was. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were incredible. It was better than I had imagined.

In the end the ring was finished on time and right within my budget. I was so impressed at how much care and thought they put into making my jewelry.

I noticed when they mentioned other customers while I waited for my appointment they referred to them by name. "Did we get Sarah's diamonds in yet?" "They're supposed to be here this morning, I'll give her a call after I meet with Andrew (me)" I felt like they really cared about the people they were creating the jewelry for.

After my experience with Jen and Kelsey, I will never go to another jeweler. Their artsistry, imagination, attention to detail, professional expertise, and superb craftsmanship are what made this ring possible.

TLDR: Awesome work, fantastic people, I have my dream ring! Long version: I was looking around to find engagement and wedding rings this year, and wasn't finding what I wanted in styles that were made to last, so I decided to invest in a custom-made band, and just get one ring to rule them all (these are the jokes). I checked out several jewelers before choosing New Gild Jewelers to make my forever ring. I chose them, because I could tell that Jen would understand my need to be really specific and yes, picky, because this is my wedding ring, and I'm going to wear it forever. I also felt confident that the ring she and Kelsey would create could handle my active, animal-filled life. Jen took time working through several CAD iterations with me until we finally settled on the perfect design. Kelsey worked hard to make the ring a reality, and today when I went in to pick up my adjusted resin engagement ring (they can do anything here!), they surprised me with my finished wedding ring!! It was done waayyy faster than I had expected, and it is absolutely perfect! I was soo stressed out, worrying that maybe I wouldn't like the real thing, or it would look too wide, etc. (I'm a worrier, if you can't tell), but it is absolutely amazing. My dream ring has become a reality, and I was so excited when they showed it to me that I basically burst into tears!! Jen and Kelsey are fantastic! New shop, great team! They are very knowledgeable, are happy to hear your ideas and not afraid to provide alternative options to get to a more than satisfactory goal. I have a unique wedding ring, asymmetrical with a nearly two carat oval blue sapphire. It was in a four prong setting. I really wanted a rose gold bezel. They drew up a mock by taking a picture of my ring and superimposing a rose gold bezel. I was thinking about adding a small ruby, my husband's birthstone, in a small space beside the sapphire. They did a mock up and we decided to go for it! My wedding ring is stellar! Looks like a different ring, but is absolutely perfect! The craftsmanship and dedication to perfection of just what the customer is looking for is beyond compare! I also had my ring re-sized and had little 'beads' added to the inside of the bands to keep them from rolling. After a few weeks of wear, one of the 'beads' needed to be adjusted and Kelsey took care of that in a matter of minutes when I just stopped in.
