Straitgate Church — Local services in Minneapolis

Today I went to experience another group of “christians” & was wildly underwhelmed. A congregation building smack dab in the middle of Minneapolis devoid of any Black, Brown, or Indigenous leadership. The East Philips neighborhood is full of people form every country on the planet & I was told that my ethnicity doesn’t matter to God neither does my gender. All Biblically incorrect. God made each and everything as a reflection of their glory. In that I was reminded that most folks never return because they’re told that they have to go through an overseer in order to get to Jesus & this is wildly false. I pray that anyone who goes here or to any other establishment would be wary of what the message is as well as what the Bible says. Shalom to all...

I have attended this church for more than 11 years and have found a church family that truly is like a family. The preaching and teaching is Biblically sound. I've learned a ton about the Bible, Old and New Testament, from faithfully attending the services. I have heard a lot of watered down preaching from larger churches who are trying to get big numbers and don't want to be "offensive" by sharing the gospel. This is not one of those churches. This church practices and teaches the Great Commission....

My Grandchildren and I used to come to Straightgate Church and yes they welcome you with loving arms and they're family. I miss coming there so much so much has happened to my family I have no one to talk to it was KiKi years ago that was my go to girl with all the happenings and wild stories I would talk of.
