10/10! Aaron is both my and my husband's barber whom we started seeing at his old salon. His and Jess's new space is excellent and feels more intimate. Both of them are absolutely genuine, caliber humans who clearly love what they do and the people they serve. Haircuts are always top notch and Aaron goes out of his way to work with you to get you what you want while offering suggestions along the way. Come for a cut and stay for the conversation and friendship (and maybe a beverage!). New location was actually a few minutes further away from us in St. Paul, but we are happy to drive the extra distance to Northeast. Special Note for LGBTQ+ folks: Aaron and Jess are vocal and passionate allies who love to serve all folks, but particularly our community. Incredible cuts. They run off the business model of "good cuts, good vibes", and boy, do they nail it! They've got good music that was curated by one of the owners, they've got a complimentary beer fridge to sip on something while you wait your turn in the queue, and they will spend the necessary time to get you the cut and style you want- the first time! They may be a bit more expensive than great clips, but screw that place, they're hack-artists that will send you home crying 98% of the time. Sturgeon however, they are the real deal. Husband and wife combo who both give just incredible haircuts and I will be going back until I move out of state (which hopefully won't happen because I don't think other locations could match...

I got my hair cut with Aaron for the first time tonight and I’ll definitely be going back. The location is easy to get to with plenty of parking and a bike rack. Their studio has a very relaxed vibe with free beverages while you wait. My haircut had a shampoo and condition included for no extra charge. Aaron gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. You can really tell he pays close attention to detail and has a lot of pride in the work...
