I am a girl that thought she knew exactly what she wanted for a wedding dress. I went in with a screenshot of every designer and dress I wanted to try on. However, I learned quickly that you really don’t know how a dress will look on your body until you try it on.

I’m not a huge fan of lace, beads, or sparkles and while they had plenty of those dresses, I felt the White Room offered the largest selection of modern/plain/sophisticated yet sexy dresses. They offered the perfect amount of different designers and styles, while not overwhelming you. They truly have a dress for anyone.

While I’m sure all the Bridal Stylist are fabulous there, I was obsessed with mine. Jillian took the perfect amount of time at the beginning of the appointment to learn all about my ‘wants’ list as well as my body type/what I wanted to show off or hide. She was SO knowledgeable about not only every designer and dress they carried, but also dress enhancements, transparency on total costs, lead times, etc.

After not loving the style I thought I wanted, she started putting me in dresses I would have never thought to try on, and I loved every one of them. She didn’t push any dress on me or put me in anything with lace/sequin or over my budget. She knew right away when I didn’t like a dress and didn’t even bother showing my guests which I learned is such an awkward thing at other shops, lol. She was so efficient yet I never felt rushed.

She made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process. Out of the 3 other stores I went to, Jillian actually understood my wants and made me feel so beautiful in everything she put me in. Even though I had 10+ dresses I researched beforehand, I ended up saying yes to a dress that Jillian picked out for me.

I can’t recommend the White Room and Jillian enough. I will be telling all my friends and family to go...

So, I'm planning a very small wedding in Mexico this winter and had originally planned on purchasing an inexpensive gown

The White Room is absolutely amazing. Jillian and the staff are incredible and the designers they carry are gorgeous and chic. They actually saved me after a horrible experience elsewhere that left me without a dress 2 weeks before my wedding (!). In full panic mode, I emailed the White Room to see if there was any way to get a dress from them in time for my wedding two weeks away. Jillian called me 5 minutes later to say she was so sorry this was happening and they will do what they can to help. I went into the store that day and was so incredibly happy to find a dress I loved. Then they rushed the alterations (around the Thanksgiving holiday) to make sure I had a dress for my wedding. They honestly saved the day, my mom and I were literally crying of happiness when we found the dress and they were able to alter it in time for the wedding. I truly don't know what I would have done were it not for Jillian and their team. After going through this experience, I would tell future brides to choose their bridal store carefully. I really wish I had understood the process more going into it. The problems that led to me being in that situation two weeks before my wedding were a result of another store not properly taking measurements and not doing alterations in house. They expected you to pick up the dress and never contact them again, but given the fact that the dresses never look right until you're near the end of alterations, if something goes wrong at the end you're left on your own. The White Room does their alterations in house and is with you every step of the way, making sure you are ready for your wedding. Clearly I can't recommend them enough. Eternally...
