Here is my honest review: this place is best for kids age 3 and up. There are lots of rules which is understandable, but kids under 3 just simply aren’t able to understand the rules. We were told when we got there that we needed to leave the play areas better than we had found them. I’m sorry, but if I am paying $30 for my kid to play, I am not going to put everything back exactly where it was. Yes I will clean up the area we are in and make sure the toys stay in the correct section, but if I wanted to clean up everything and have it go back exactly where it should, I would have just stayed home. For the price the staff can be the one that make sure everything looks spotless again.
The areas are incredibly well done and fit the themes perfectly. Lots of thought went into making these and whoever did that is very creative! The toys are all appropriate for the area. My daughter did enjoy playing there although she is only 17 months.
I know some have commented about the Christian music. I didn’t mind the fact the music was Christian but the fact it was so loud! The music was blaring in there. It should be soft background music.
It seems like they are trying to do too much here, with all the different play areas, the cafe, the art shop, the toy store. I think they should scale down the “extras” and make them included in the admission price. Such as a few simple art projects that they rotate every few weeks, and offer one or two others for an additional cost. Same with the cafe, have it include like a juice box and small snack and have additional options to purchase. I think this would help justify the cost of admission if there was more that was included.
My daughter and I met up with friends for a play date. Our daughters are both 17 months old. We ended up only being there for an hour because it was then lunch time and nap time. I appreciate that the wrist bands are good for all day, but we live 40 mins away so not able to come again after they nap. I wish the admission for 12-24 months was cheaper, say $5. It seems silly to pay the full price when they aren’t able to get as much out of it as older children.
All in all I would come back, just not until my child is 2.5 or 3 years old so she will be able to get more out of...
Read moreI ABSOLUTELY loves this place for my four kiddos, very well put together clean and soo much to do that my 10 and 11 year old where quite impressed. Now if you are complaining about having to clean up behind your kids that's ridiculous. When I went with my four kids a few families came in after and where literal tornadoes. It ACTUALLY frustrated me. Because it literally takes 2 seconds to tell your child to put things back before moving on. As for the price. I thought it was reasonable.. I brought four kids so it was 75 for us all then I bought the creative dollars. I mean the play areas are all free so why not add on some crafts! I will say that this is not a place where kids will play WITH each other but more so for them to play along with parents. So if you are just sitting on your phone be prepared for your little to get bored and move around rather quickly. Also, as for the comment about the one station per families. That's a lie, unless it's really busy I can see that. We went on a Friday, a few families here or there, but my son wanted to explore everything so it wasn't a big deal of a space was busy.. but he did join in a few times. there's like 10+ spaces (its alot). This place is definitely a 3+ place but WELL worth it.
I'll definitely be recommending this place to EVERYONE.. and ALL I'LL say for the negative reviews is to just PLAY with your child and TEACH them to be mindful and pick up behind themselves. Be excited with them, if they move on quickly.. YOU pick it up.. ALSO the staff was AMAZING, 3.7 stars is not NEARY enough for the experience my family and I...
Read moreIf you want to be stressed out for the entire time you take your children somewhere to play, then this is your place! The workers hover over you and your children the entire time. If you're not within arms reach of your children, you or your kids hear about it from them. For example, the moment my daughter stepped out of an area with a costume on to ask me for help the worker reprimanded us and said, "that can't leave that area." They're just waiting to pounce on parents and kids to yell at them on how to clean and how to play. I told my child to pick something up, and within seconds a worker came out of nowhere and said to her "if you can't pick up toys, you can't play with them." Please don't reprimand my child. Meanwhile, the workers just stand around when they could be cleaning as well. So basically my friend and I feel we way over paid, ($60 for 2 adults and 2 kids), just to be stressed and micro managed the entire times. And to the owners, please don't leave me a defensive response like I see you leave for the other low star comments. Take this feedback and try to make it a more comfortable place to be. Maybe try visiting Minisota Play Cafe- they have it figured out. The kids play freely, the parents are close, but not helicopter close and it's an actual enjoyable...
