Dec 2018 Although I have had issues in the past, it's been about a year and they seem to have very much turned things around. At this point the staff is friendly and efficient, food is good too.
Sept 2018 I went today for the first time since this review. The experience this time was up to par with any other Chipotle today. I'm not sure what happened last time, but I am increasing my review to 4 stars and leaving the original review as writted below.
I got to this location 20 minutes before close. I wanted 2 burritos. They ran out of tortillas so I had to get 1 burrito 1 bowl. Understandable, since it was so close to close. The burrito was for mine, and I wanted it veggie with fajita. They were also out of fajita since it was now 15 till close. (I waited in line for 5). Then I asked if I could get free guac on the chicken bowl to make up for there being no fajita. The server's response was to put guac on the chicken bowl. So, I asked the cashier the same question. He was actually friendly, and after avoiding the question a bit said, 'no. But I'll give you a free drink to make up for it' and then charged me for the extra guac. I really should have asked them to scoop it off and not charged me for it now that I had gotten my question answered I no longer wanted it, but the general feeling from the workers was that they were tired and they wanted to go home, now 10 minutes before close. The burito wasn't good, I ate it in my car while processing the interactions that I just had. If it hadn't been for the friendliness of that cashier I would have undoubtedly rated this experience a 1. Regardless, I do not plan on returning to...
Read moreThis location is slowly, but surely becoming annoying and irritating. First off, the music's too loud. If it's not loud you can hear their personal music in the back.
The people fixing your food seem okay, but confused and ask me what I JUST told them. I know it's a hectic workspace for you, you're new, personal stuff etc. but how hard is it to remember "white, black, chicken???"
Messy eating area; tables have old sauce, rice spills evidently from children. It's Corn N' Cheese Land where I sat.
I usually get a chicken salad, but if you ever see a tall guy with curly hair cooking, just know your chicken will be slightly uncooked. Blehh
The short-haired blonde makes me feel uneasy and anxious to get out, because she has this "unnecessarily obnoxious" trait that makes me not want to go to this location. Weirdest employee I've seen in a while. If you come here often, you KNOW the one I'm talking about.
The guy at theregister acts like he forgot how to give change back. You might as well have a calc sitting by for moments like this.
I had to ask 3 different times for a side of guac the day before, but they only seemed interested in playing with each other. An attitude like that, you'd think the guac had flavor. It didn't.
This is the kind of Chipotle that will make you get...
Read moreI'm a Chipotle diehard who has eaten at locations across the country many hundreds of times, and today was easily the most maddening experience I've ever had an any Chipotle.
First, it took nearly 20 minutes to get through to the front of the line. Any Chipotle worth it's chops should be able to get through 20 people in under 10 minutes.
Second, when I got to the front I learned there had been two catering orders placed this morning and they were missing numerous menu items. Receiving unexpected catering orders is no excuse for not making more food.
Third, the only employee I could see in the kitchen didn't appear to care all that much about the issues.
Fourth, the two employees serving the line of customers could only be described as lackadaisical. It's not that I would say they weren't showing any hustle despite the line, it's that they were literally moving slowly. The employee dishing up salsa/sides/etc even stood in front of 3 of us customers while he SLOWLY wiped down the counter. Apparently he thought it was okay to ignore customers after they had waited 20 minutes.
I was excited to have recently moved office locations just down the road from a Chipotle. If I have a similar experience to this again I will not be returning to...
