The Mill at Ironworks Plaza — Local services in Mishawaka

I've lived here since December, and so far have absolutely loved it. Started out in a smaller 1bedroom, and eventually decided to move to a larger 2 bedroom unit to have a separate office space and to give my cats a bit more room. Management made the process of moving to a larger unit about as painless as it could have been!

Appliances and cabinetry are nice and modern, and nothing feels incredibly cheap as I've noticed in past apartment complexes. Noise from neighbors is fairly minimal. Less than I'd expected given past experience at other apartments. AC/heat works well and has been cheaper than expected for the size of the apartment. Options for ISP are Comcast and ATT, both of which provide fiber.

Haven't used most amenities due to Covid, but I'm looking forward to using the gym soon. Package pickup system is convenient, and it's nice to know my packages are safe until I come pick them up.

Proximity to shopping and restaurants is good, especially the farmer's market directly behind the building.

I can't say that I have really found anything I would classify as a major negative about living here. Yes, the rent isn't exactly cheap, but for the area and for the type of apartments it is acceptable. There's some road noise living out front by the traffic circle, especially at my previous unit which was directly in front of the traffic circle. Again, not a huge issue though.

I am a veteran and went on a tour. The pricing is ridiculous, you can find apartments around this area that are just as nice if not nicer with their own parking that you don't have to worry if you will be towed, and as a plus you won't have to pay for it. This place has a gated parking lot that they will try to make you pay for otherwise you are parking on city terms. They do not have a veteran discount. All they said they could do was waive the application fee and the security deposit which only equals out to 150 dollars. Like I said these apartments are way over priced and all they are trying to do is make you over pay for them and try to keep you there as long as they can so that when you resign another contract they will increase your rate. The last part sounds average but it's a guarantee that every time you resign your contract your rent will be increased. Be very aware and dont say I didn't warn you if you are thinking about living here...

Amazing place to live and call home. Anytime I had an issue Toni was always who I had to talk to. He was very professional, approachable, and kind. The office staff was always there to help. It seemed as they were just there waiting for someone to call, they almost always answered the phone which was very reassuring. Lauren was very knowledgeable and always loved on our dog. We had matching dogs! Riley, the maintenance tech was awesome as well. My dog loves to jump on people and is high energy, but Riley welcomed him with open arms and always remembered his name.
