So excited we have a Sun King in Mishawaka! 😎 GO HERE FOR BEER! 🍺🍻💖Fantastic Beer! Seriously, their beer is excellent. I also really like that the staff will check on you occasionally as they walk by and if you want another brew they will bring you one! 🎉👏🏻 I wish more tap rooms did this. That is one of my biggest gripes about breweries. You basically serve yourself, and tip them for it? But I love the beer so I put up w it. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Be warned though, it is CRAZY loud in this taproom. Maybe some foam or some sound deadening tiles would help? HARD pass on the food next time for me, it's not bad, but it's definitely NOT impressive for the price. Some constructive criticism on the food?? *Way overpriced for what you get, either drop your food prices significantly or up your food game a few levels. Like, I'd pay $8/$9 for the chicken sandwich I got (out of convenience if I was there and needed some food in my system) but $14 for a chicken sandwich (that's better at Wendy's) is a stretch. It was good, but definitely not $14 good. *Cook your fries longer, no lady wants limp anything and that includes fries. Maybe add a lil something to your sides to make it more unique; such as a special sauce for your fries or SOMETHING to eat plain tortillas with if you get tacos. Having plain tortillas as a side with no salsa, nacho cheese or guac or ANYTHING to go with tortilla chips is Ludacris. imo. *Maybe hire someone to help with your taco and pico game? Again, not bad, but lackluster. Tacos weren't hot and the shell was crunchy on the outside and mushy in the middle. Or maybe double tortilla your tacos so they don't fall apart as soon as they're picked up? The tortilla chips are delightful, so great job there. Again a sauce to go with them would be great. Maybe even an optional hot sauce for the tacos? Like a mango habanero sauce would be awesome for the pineapple tacos my husband bought and a traditional sauce for regular tacos? Even Valentina on your condiment bar would be awesome. Just throwing stuff out there. ✨All in all we had a good time and I'm glad we went. 🙂 Your beer is stellar and your staff is friendly. Fix the food, find a way to make it quieter (so a couple sitting across from each other can hear eachother) and you'll be unstoppable!! 💜 I really wanted to 5star this review because the beer is so good... This place is SO lucky that Biebs & Ash came back and they owe them a huge thanks because there is very little reason to come to this establishment otherwise. It doesn't matter what time of day or day of the week we go; the service is always TERRIBLE. We have never been spoken to by a server within ten minutes of being seated. Recently, after fifteen minutes of waiting, we flagged down a server to ask who was going to be taking our order, and instead of apologizing for the wait, he just said, "We're really busy, she'll be with you when she can." First of all, half the tables were empty, and literally, your only job is to take pre-made beverages from the bar to a table. When someone does finally decide they are ready to help you, be prepared to deal with the most flat-affected, gen-Z-stare types imaginable. Ok ok soooo, The beer is good. The beer is really excellent and I really love this place. However, the food is terrible. I know things had to change. The burger place may or may not make it off Main. But the flat bread is so far off the mark it's a rip off. It's not flavorful at all and it doesn't match the beer. The beer is so creative, so the opportunity was there. Really the food is so down now that it's impossible to recommend them as a dinner place. It really pains me but 2/5 is all I can give. There was time there to come up with something. Food just can't be halfway when replacing an excellent burger place. Really it was that bad, unfavorable premade stuff that took longer then fresh burgers. I was coming at least once a week. I won't be back...
