Service was absolutely terrible! Came with a large group for a friend's birthday. It was also Father's Day. My boyfriend and I ordered bloody Marys. Had to ask where our drinks were after 20 minutes. Still didn't get them. Had to go up to the bar and ask for drinks. Server finally came and took our order. I ordered cheese curds. They came out burnt. They are like $12-15. We waited and waited food never came. Staff came and asked what we ordered twice! They gave us no silverware, no straws. We had to get our own. We had reserved a table for 10 and had extra folks show up. We were told they could not add a table because it was Father's Day, even though they were not full. Do you want the business or not?! We ended up having to separate our party on my friend's birthday! After waiting forever... My BF went outside to smoke and they locked the doors. The server told us it was because they were done serving food. I decided to cancel our order after all of this. I went up to the counter and stood there, wasn't even acknowledged! Another one of our party finally said she'd like to cancel her food! NEVER EVER AGAIN! WE LEFT AND WENT CROOKED EWE. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! RUDE SERVICE!!!! HORRIBLE

Mishawaka Public House Rating: 4.8/5 I recently visited Public House, and it exceeded my expectations for a public house experience. The atmosphere was cozy yet lively, with warm lighting and rustic decor that gave it a welcoming, homey vibe. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure every guest felt valued. The menu offered a great mix of classic pub fare and some creative twists on traditional dishes. I ordered the Salmon BLT and was blown away by the flavors—it was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Their drink selection is impressive, with a wide variety of craft beers, signature cocktails, and wines to choose from. What stood out most was the community vibe. It felt like a place where locals and newcomers could easily mingle, which added to its charm. The only slight drawback was the placement of the TV’s and the placement of the light fixtures but overall, it didn’t detract from the experience. If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy good food, drinks, and company, Mishawaka Public House is a must-visit!

Very trendy restaurant. Enjoyed the ambiance and decor. Food was all spot on! Opened with the Blue Buffalo Tots. The serving size was ample and had a good amount of Buffalo & blue on it! Dinner was the Cheese Curd Burger and the Bacon Burger. Both were good sized, and they weren't joking about building them upside down as you can see in the pictures. They even sear "Mishawaka" on one side and their logo on the other. They also offer bags of fresh ground coffee blends of their own making. It looked like there was an upstairs that would have had a wonderful river view. Our server was friendly and efficient, and food rolled out quickly, despite the appearance of being short-staffed. Overall, it was good and we will likely return.

The restaurant was clean, our waitress was fabulous. There seemed to be plenty of staff on hand, & we didn't have to wait too long for our meals.

The food was good but it was nothing special. It's a gimmic that they serve your sandwich upside down with "Mishawaka" seared on the bun.

Basically it was $18 burger and fries, but you can choose tater tots or double fried fries (which are nice and crispy).... both were good, and they do cook your pattie (or steak) to order. They have a full bar, beer on tap as well as a house bottle of red or white wine on every table.

Nice view of the ice skating rink. We didn't go upstairs so I don't know if maybe you can view the River Walk from the upper level or not. That may also be a bit quieter than the main dining room which was pretty loud with a full house when we visited, but we were seated near bratty children who were impatiently waiting for Grandma who wanted to leisurely drink her wine. Hopefully that doesn't happen when you're there. There is an elevator (or stairs) to get to the upper level.

If you just want to check it out, I'd advise going for lunch, it's cheaper.

It would be nice if they had a brochure detailing the biographies of famous people who come from Mishawaka.... I could only name a few of them, and the staff didn't really know them either, yet that is what the restaurant is based on and is also incorporated...

The waitstaff was great! The food, not so great. The hamburger and tots were very good. In fact the tots were excellent-crispy and hot. Dave’s Avocado Cobb-I might have gotten the same thing at a grocery store or in my own kitchen as I packed lunch for the next day. It cost $17, the same as the burger and tots. The burger had a slice of cheese and some really Smokey flavorful bacon-yum! The salad had those bacon bits you get in a bag that only taste like salt and some cheese shreds from a bag. Talk about cheap! For $17 I at least want freshly prepared ingredients. I asked my spouse why they put it on the burger and they said , “Because otherwise nobody would buy it.” Yep, even the restaurant knows what tastes better. I asked our amazing waitress for the bacon he had on the burger instead and the cook(s) replied to be sure to charge her $2 for it. I don’t know if I just got lucky on my last visit or this was unusual, but I do not recommend this dish. It is made with cheap ingredients and sold for top price. I thanked the waitress when I left and one cook leaned over to hear. Really? Why didn’t you come talk to me when I complained about my bacon? I didn’t see a manager either. Be careful with what you order here. This visit left a...

It was bad, There was no music on the patio if it was on we couldn’t hear it. We ordered a bacon olive cheeseburger. There was no bacon on it.The olives we sooooo huge how could one bite into the burger I was thinking it was going to be an olive spread nit whole unpitted olives!!! There was paper in the burger !!!! 😩😩😩😩😩😩 Part of it I found in a bite I had in my mouth that felt funny. we had the burger cut in half too. So we also ordered tater tots and not fries but then they did bring us tots.. The server never came back to table to check on us other than asking if she could bring the check. We did have the manager come to the table. He didn’t know how to handle the situation AT ALL!!!! He apologized after the fact n tried to say how the burgers are made blah blah blah He was clueless. Just lost. We did not ask for it to be free, we wanted him to be aware of what the kitchen is doing !!!!! Or let’s say not doing Remove paper between the cheese slices please!!!!! I’m just thinking how much paper did we both just digest???? Anyway we paid for our appetizer we only had water to drink. Such a waste n I was hoping for a better visit. We won’t be going back. Also we did bring our dog with us so...
