This place has 6 registers and they've closed three of them.one whole side of the lobby area to buy food and be rung up is closed. Are movies dying or just this place? I know that concessions are expensive but why do they need to be so overpriced? I feel bad for families trying to give their kid a movie experience with popcorn, drinks and candy and they could have just about bought the latest video gameI player instead. I bought a bottled water, Water for God's sake and it was almost $5. Not a big bottle, no just a small 1.29 tops anywhere else. Infact they are .79 cents at Walmart. I feel like I'm being robbed.even the clerk was embarrassed to say the price cuz that's all I was buying at the time.geeez. I usually just hold my breath buy the popcorn and the drink when I go plus I go at least four five times a month to see a movie. These prices are insane though I love going to bigger cities and going to an AMC in Arizona I feel like wow here let me buy all your stuff too because it's cheaper.in Arizona that AMC has a soda cup that you can bring back each time you come to the movie to buy a refill. The refill will not break your wallet and neither should it break ours in Missoula Montana. I may be working myself up about the prices but it makes me sad because I'm starting to think staying at home with whatever I want to eat in the comfort of my home is sounding a lot...
Read moreI can’t help but feel there are managers at this location who are just simply over-thinking it. My wife and I have been to several AMC dine-in locations all over the country. This one is a failure. We waited outside of the theater for twenty minutes after the seating time, which means they were taking orders well into the movie. Not the trailers. The movie. We were seated in a row that included three groups. Sara was our host, and she is the only person who apologized. The group to the right of us got their food, the group to the left got theirs. Both were done eating before we got ours and then ours was cold. No apology. Then, no pre-bussing or clearing of dishes. This is obviously why the theater was late being cleaned. These people need to understand that taking my order while the plot of a movie I’ve been eager to see for over a year is being set up is far and away more disruptive than pre-bussing or completely clearing my dishes during. This location will be closed within a year, or drastically...
Read moreWe saw the terrible duck movie a few weeks ago and I have some thoughts:
First off, why were the majority of the parking lot lights off? It was dark out and the parking lot was barely lit. Creepy. The toilets in the women's bathroom were filthy. Several were full of urine and feces leading me to believe they weren't functional. The theater itself was disgusting. Trash was everywhere. Floors were sticky, and there was gum on one of our seats. The arm rests on the seats felt coated and sticky with general ick which made my skin crawl and I instantly regretted ordering popcorn and drinks for my daughter and partner. If the theater and bathrooms are this dirty, then the concessions must be equally if not more unsanitary. My suspicions were validated when my daughter threw up several hours after we got home and felt generally unwell the next day. The good old days of going to the movies is dead it seems. The lack of care for this theater definitely proves it. Very sad. The staff was...
