Ordered pickup - as part of our order we ordered an appetizer (fried pickles) for $9.95 - they were packed in a decent sized box (what you would expect for an appetizer) - however, when we opened the box there were 8 or 9 slices of fried pickles (think of a little larger than sliced pickle's you would put on a hamburger . My daughter put it perfectly when she said this is actually less than an entire pickle. It was actually ridiculous given the size of box they were in. I was so appalled I went in and opened the box for the cashier to see and asked him (SAM) if he felt that was a normal sized appetizer for 10$. He told me that he personally did not feel it was- but Corporate only allows them to give 7.5 ounces for each appetizer and it was weighed? So I told Sam I would like a refund and he acted like he was giving me one (on my credit card) and said he'd have to enter it when he went in the back room? Why he couldn't do it then and there - I have no clue. I told him to write his name on the receipt so I would know who to contact if I didn't get the refund. Of course NO REFUND was given which is what I suspected. I guess tomorrow I'll just have to "DILL" with the manager. I would say each pickle slice is approx 1 ounce so at their stated limit of 7.5 ounces that's what you'll get 7.5 pickle slices so a little more than $1.00 per pickle slice to give you an idea as to what you're paying for....AND they serve it in a large box which adds further insult to injury because you could fit an entire meal in the box they...
Read moreWhat a fabulous eatery. Great menu with a variety of entrees. But the Buffalo Wings which me and another ordered were outstanding. They can be ordered a variety of ways so ask your server to explain. Our order was I had bone in and the other was bone out. Both were deliciously prepared with extra sauces available. The boneless order came in three different flavors. Blue cheese on the side as well as celery & carrots. Onion rings to split and we got stuffed, even took home a go box with leftover wings and rings. The cost was very reasonable for the amount of items delivered. Televisions with all sports spread around the eaves of the ceiling. There was play/pick your own music available also. Even a couple of pinball type machines for youthful enjoyment. The dining room and bar were divided by a five foot barrier wall however dining was available in either location. The staff was very respectable and professional. As well as friendly and personable. A very clean and well set up facility. Readily accessible for those who may have handicaps. Great parking out front with several accessible routes from Reserve Street. Although it isn't right off Reserve Street the location is visible to the West of Burger King same street. Overall a very delightful experience. Give it a "High Five"...... Overall a really...
Read moreStopped by for an early dinner Sunday. Place was about half full and seemed well staffed as we saw at least 5 or 6 waitstaff. Noticed a lot of dirty tables, though. We were seated fairly quickly, and it went downhill from there. Ordered 2 waters, a soft drink, and a beer. All the drinks arrived except the beer. Was told it would be right out. Waited 5 minutes and waiter came for our order. Still no beer. Reminded him and he said sorry, BRB. Another 5 to ten minutes and the beer arrived. Food arrived 15 minutes or so later and we were missing part of our order. Told the waiter we were missing food and would like another beer. The missing food arrived halfway though the meal and the 2nd beer arrived after that. Pathetic service. Made the mistake of using the men's restroom. Filthy. The +$50 bill was the fastest thing to arrive. I did leave a modest tip just because but this will be my last visit. Was there a few months ago and it was a nice lunch experience. Sadly they have gone downhill. And to the anticipated owners canned response to this negative review about leaving comments on their feedback page, read these reviews and do something or this place will be out of business soon. There are better places to eat with much better service. We should have...
