"Yates & Co. Jewelers" is the place to sell your unwanted jewelry! The staff there makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk thru their door. They aren't cold & quick to get rid of you like the other jewelry stores I've been to in the past. "Yates & Co. Jewelers" makes you feel like they're glad that you came in & want to know how it is that they can assist you. When I said that I had jewelry to sell Scott approached the counter smiling & introduced his self & politely asked if he could see the jewelry i was wanting to sell. It was then that I knew that I'd come to the right place! Scott was very courteous as he was professional. He pulled out his "loop" & began to tell me what he saw. When I wasn't clear on what he meant he was quick to explain & answer any other questions that I had. As soon as he took my jewelry to the back so that he could weigh them & make me an offer, he was back w/ an offer that I couldn't refuse! He then asked me for my I.D. so that he could go write me out a check & before I knew it, he was back asking for my thumb print & signature so that we could close the deal! Then as Scott was handing me my check (still smiling) he thanked me & said that they had a bank across the street, "Oak Valley Community Bank" where I could go to cash the check if I wanted. I think my jaw dropped just then because I had received a very fair offer on my valuables from an amazing staff of people that were prompt, professional & so very courteous to assist me! I didn't think it could get any better than that . . . but it did . . . those nice people at "Oak Valley Community Bank" didn't charge me one cent to cash my check from "Yates & Co. Jewelers"! I'll start by saying, I NEVER give reviews, because I feel like I'm usually satisfied with purchases, but don't feel like singing from the top of a mountain. But my experience with Titanium Jewelry/Yates & Co Jewelers has been more than mountain-shouting worthy. I sincerely appreciate the time and attention given to me as a customer. First, the ring I ordered is absolutely beautiful and unique-I love that my fiance loves it, and the titanium band won't bend or disfigure when he wears it daily on the job. Second, customer service here is outstanding. Working in CS for my entire career, I know that reps really have the opportunity to turn tough situations into wonderful experiences. I believe Yates & Co. really strives to do so. 1. I input an incorrect shipping address for the ring...not an issue, easily updated via email with follow-up from the company. 2. Since I had moved, my credit card billing address was not updated yet. They followed up to make sure that my order processed okay and that they had the correct information on their end. 3. I couldn't figure out where to put my discount code-this upset me, because our budget was tight. I spoke with Amanda on the phone who was so very friendly, helpful, and reassuring. She was able to apply code by working with the orders team. I am very pleased with our order, their great customer service, and I look forward to doing business with them sometime in the future! My wife and I are from a different state than California and we were looking for a 28" rose gold wheat chain that was 1.6 mm in width and was unable to locate one where we lived. We did some research on the internet and found Yates & Co Jewelers and reached out to them. Jewelry agent Melody Curiel was so courteous and helpful. She reached out to multiple vendors and was unable to locate the exact length and width that we preferred. Focused on making the customer happy, she did not stop there. She forwarded us some other chain styles that fell within our length and width parameters and made recommendations on options for adding an extender to the length of the necklace. We finally settled on a 18" 2 mm wheat chain with a 3" extender that Yates & Co. Jewelers added O rings to, allowing for the chain to be adjusted to 19", 20" and 21". Melody also helped us secure some rose gold earring posts and backs. The customer service provided was exceptional and pricing was very reasonable. This was the first time we have bought fine jewelry from another U.S. jeweler where the purchase was not made in person.
