I ordered a flower arrangement for a coworker who passed unexpectedly through Julie's Artistic Rose's website the morning of his visitation, which was scheduled for 4pm that day. Prior to placing the online order I called to make sure an order placed would arrive at the funeral home in time for the visitation and was told it would. I then placed the order immediately on their website. When I showed up at 4pm to the visitation I was shocked to see my flower arrangement was nowhere to be found. Upon leaving the visitation I immediately called to find out what the issue was. I was told that when I place an online order I should always call the place of business and confirm that they received my order. I told them since I immediately received a receipt for my purchase to my e-mail, I had no reason to believe they did not get my order. They told me their website is managed through a different company and although they discovered too late they did have my order, apparently it never printed out - so I was out of luck for that day. They told me the best they could do was deliver the arrangement the next day for the memorial service. I was very disappointed in this whole transaction and felt they should have done something more to make things right after spending $265 on an arrangement meant for both the visitation and the memorial service. I have never had to call and confirm any online purchases before, especially when I received an e-mailed receipt. Please don't make the same mistake I made! They mentioned in my phone call that they would "try" to see if I could get a discount, but we shall see. I would have rather had the flowers at the visitation than money...
Read moreI set up flowers to be delivered to my fiance's work today. I paid $100 they were supposed to make it special with a poem I had them add to it. You couldnt even read what she wrote as it was sloppy cursive I had to tell my fiance what I said because she couldn't after receiving. Also my name is Austin they wrote love Alex at the bottom of it...like are you kidding me! In front of all her Co workers how embarrassing. The worst part is I called them after told them what happened ask for a refund all she would do is 20% and I had to fight her for that which I didn't take it she lost my business for life & everyone I know will hear about it that orders from here. Julie's artistic Rose shame on you that was the eighth time I've ordered $100 set of flowers.
P.S accidents happen I get it but you give 100% refund when that accident happens. Bad customer support bad business I...

I paid for the deluxe which cost me around $185. When I got to the visitation, the arrangement was about 18 x 12. The gut wrenching feeling of seeing that was very upsetting. I wish I could have taken a photo but it would have been rude for me to take a photo when the arrangement was so close to the casket. I called the next day, although the owner was friendly, I feel she did not give me a good enough explanation to why I paid so much for so little. I was offered $10 refund and to trust her that she put the money into such a small arrangement. Hard to believe. I tried supporting a local, small business and will not be giving them...
