Target — Local services in Monroe Township

Dear Sir or Madam:

On November 22,2020 I researched vacuums on the internet. I drove to Walmart to see what the store had in stock. I picked the one I liked then searched on-line where the Target store advertised the sweeper for $50 cheaper.

I drove the 25 miles to the store and Target Selinsgrove didn't carry that model. I looked over the features of the other sweepers and selected one that had a good sized sign in front of the sweeper advertising it for $149.99.

I carried it to the check-out the lady said $300. I explained to her the sign with Black Friday Deal in small print save $200.

She got the manager after using three different hand held devices on the product. She opened the flyer that had the picture of the sweeper I was trying to buy in a different color.

The manager claimed that was not the sweeper on sale and walked me to a different department to a sweeper that did not look like the one in the flyer but resembled a junky child's toy and claimed that was the sale product.

I had her follow me to the sweeper department and showed her the sweeper with the big tag in front for $149.99. She said she would knock $50 off the sweeper.

I left her know I would not purchase the sweeper at that price and she removed sign and walked away. I filled out a complaint card at store.

False advertising! Tag said save $200 and she is willing to decrease it $50.

I went to Walmart and purchased sweeper! That has been my worst shopping experience ever! Buyer beware shopping at Target!

Lots of good deals. Everything from holiday (Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas) trinkets to high end electronics. Never fail to come out empty handed. Weather it's clothing for my wife and daughter, (they can spend forever in the sale section), or my personal favorite, the book section, there is something for everyone. It's currently a kinda weird time tho with multiple holiday stuff out. There are aisles of Halloween decorations and costumes right next to aisles of Christmas lights and trees lol. Had to return an item as it was a set that was supposed to be tea, coffee, and sugar canisters but it had two sugar and no coffee. Had purchased it online as a gift for someone. It was only available online and would take a few days to ship but unfortunately I didn’t realize the defect until the day before the party. However, I was able to purchase another item off the registry for pickup at the store and return the defective item quickly and easily.
