My son was fitted for his prom tuxedo 3 weeks in advance. The lady who fitted him, in my opinion, didn't do the measurements right. I knew my son was a 31/32 in the waist and she put down 29/30. I told my husband this was not the right size she wrote down. My husband assured me they knew what they were doing. The tuxedo comes in 2 days before the event (on a Thursday) and the pants doesn't fit. So the lady "re-orders" his pants and they are supposed to be overnighted to pick them up Friday. Note, the store was super busy and everyone was all over the place not attending to one customer at a time, it was like a free for all. I call after 12 the next day, and the lady who answered says she doesn't see them and that the pants would be here tomorrow, Saturday (they day of the event). Something didn't sit right with me so I called back around 2 and asked them what was the worst case scenario if the pants didn't come in, so the lady I talked to pulled up my order and says they were never re-ordered. She assured me they would be here 10 am Saturday morning. They called after 10 and says they were there. We go and try everything back on and they fit perfectly. We were not told cufflinks were a requirement otherwise we would've had them with the suit. The lady in charge was rude, spoke to me like I didn't know what I was talking about, or like I was lying when it was her employees who told me that. She stated because I made changes online the deal was void, I followed up with the fact we came back IN STORE to fix it and they assured it that the groom's suit would still be free. Mr. J tried SO HARD to talk to her about giving us the free rental because it was the honorable thing to do, and she was having none of it. I'm all about paying for things we buy because well that's how it works, but I am frustrated to say the least that what we were told by employees was not honored, as I even listened to Mr. J vouch for us and how it didn't make sense to not honor that. We had my 3 yo son with me and right away the woman snapped at us and asked if he was in the wedding and that she wouldn’t fit him. My son was NOT getting fitted and she continued to tell us she would not fit him, she was extremely rude and we felt very rushed. The fitting for both men took about 20 minutes.
