Extremely poor. After waiting 20 minutes to get some pages 3 hole punched for a notebook. The clerk at the printer counter was nice enough and was waiting on another customer. She was working alone in the service department, although other employees seemed to be aimlesdly strolling around the store. She said she didnt think there was a charge. It took less than a minute and she hole punched my papers. Then a pleasant fellow helped me find a particular kind of notebook. When checking out ,this is when it all went bad. The young man at the register took over ten minutes trying to determine what to charge me, although one female manager told him not to charge me anything for the service. I had to wait and wait at the register another 10 minutes until this glib bearded, arrogant man came by and told him to charge me the max. I wanted to walk out and leave my other items sitting on the counter way before Mr. Smarty pants (charge her the max) I had wait and pay for the service rendered or they would have called law enforcement. I was unwittingly trapped there. Then he finally happily rang it up for 3.99. He was delighted with himself, to give me the business. It was how I was treated and his sheer determination to cheat me. I will never buy printer cartridges, paper or any other items in that store (that Ive always purchased in the past for work)or any other office max. It was demeaning and handled with such ill will. I only hope that all OFFICE MAX stores go out of business. Those 2 guys are jerks and I could have bought a 3 hole punch for less than that at Wal-Mart. Read moreI was really disappointed from my last and second visit to this location. Me and my sister spent 40 mins to an hour here for four prints of paper. We came into the store, there was three representatives which two of them had a customer. Representative #3 was just staring there waiting for us to approach him. Which we did and we ask want we need. So apparently killing a bug was a more important priority and just walked away. Representative #2 took over, we had send the email to print the document which he was not receiving. With a sarcastic tone he stood there asking us three times if we spelled the email correctly. Which we showed him the three times he asked. So 20-30 mins just standing there and resending it to see if they receive it and they weren’t even checking if they did. Lord and mighty, there was a self serving printer that they forgot to mention omg. I took another 30mins to print in the self serving printer because the document need to be in pdf format. Again all three of the representatives all doing nothing, on their phones chating away. I even asked if I could borrow a charger for my iPhone to us the USB port and see if that would work. Representative #2 again with his smart mouth “apple products don’t work that way it all has to be done through iCloud” hummmm how am I supposed to know that you’re the one working here not me. At the end, look I’ll really rather drive to Matthews if that’s what it’s takes I drove from Indian trail in the middle of traffic for all this nonsense. It shouldn’t have taken this long really...
Read moreOn 6/10/15 around 6:45 pm I entered the store to specifically look for 2 Dr. Grip pens since I've been unable to locate them at all places I've looked at thus far. I picked out the pens and proceeded to Checkout to pay for the items. There was no one available at the Check Out counters nor at the Customer Service counter. Baffled as to where to pay, since no instructions or messaging left at the Check Out counters, I proceeded to the last logical counter (the Printing/Order counter). There were 3 employees behind the counter and no acknowledgement of any kind was received from any of the employees. Two of the employees look straight at me and proceeded to do what they were involved in. I waited for 10 minutes with still no acknowledgment as to providing assistance so I threw the pens atop some printing paper and left the store. It's amazing to see such disregard for customers.
