The er is very dirty and horrible I was treated like a criminal. Dr Omar especially was very rude mean and no understanding of chronic pain issues they kept claiming that I wanted medication and more of it. When actually all I wanted them to do was to call my doctor and get me admitted for them to watch me because I was in so much pain. your guysâs hospitalist acts like heâs god. When I asked if he could please talk to my doc Who I had on the phone at the time he proceeded to tell me that he knows what I need and itâs just to leave not even trying to de-escalate the issue and maybe try to help me. So after all this, when I get discharged, they called security on me Who in my opinion needs more training on human interaction, especially the female one sheâs rude and condescending and she lies she lied straight to the cop and told them that I was discharged at 4 PM when I wasnât discharged till 10 PM because guess what I wasnât checked in till 3:30 . So that made it sound like I was running around the place acting a fool so the cops really had no choice but to make me wait out side after I told them I was about to have one of my non epileptic seizures due to all the stress they caused me. So thanks promedica for causing me all this stress and pain to just add more when I had my seizure you guys caused do...
Read moreNurse JOHN, on the ER floor, refused to make time for me when I asked about an update on my husband's possible sepsis stay in the E.R. First thing he did was laugh at me and say "yeah he's being treated here but I can't give information over the phone".
I'm his wife, and a Nurse myself.
He said he was too busy to talk to me and refused to ask my husband's permission to relay info over the phone when I stated I'm also a nurse, which he laughed at, when he cited HIPAA as the reason he couldn't give me an update (while my husband was awake texting me from the room). It had been 2 hours and he had not yet received antibiotics, which Toledo Hospital had prescribed him the day before for ulcerative colitis but he had thrown up repeatedly, Q 20 mins.
Nurse JOHN on ER floor, fix your damn compassion fatigue before you hurt someone. And take some CE classes on HIPAA. Someday someone won't have time for you, nurse John.
He was just as important as other critical patients.
Shame on you Promedica Monroe. Don't waste your time here, you will be ignored and belittled by nurses who do their job for dollars, not compassion. Promedica Toledo is better equipped, with more...
Read moreIf I could give the ER negative stars I would. The only reason I go here is because Iâve had dire emergencies and a superior hospital wasnât close by. Everytime, I have been treated as if ai were seeking pills. I was not. I went in twice for hypotension and was left lying on the hospital bed being questioned about âwhat did you take to make your blood pressure drop?â. I didnât take anything I wasnât prescribed. The last time I went I was take in for a severe headache and given a medicine that interacted with my currents meds ( and yes they had those on file.). I also was bleeding from my stomach and told it was âprobably just a sinus infectionâ. And each time I try to contact someone at Promedica to make a formal complaint I get the run around and a ton of excuses. I canât wait until someone sues this place for everything they are worth. I donât know how they...
