St Vincent de Paul — Local services in Monroe

Very crowded, some prices are good others are outrageous! Customer service is horrible. They pick and choose who to break the "rules" for.

During this covid out break their bathrooms and dressing rooms are supposed to be closed to the public but apparently if you are friends with an employee they let you use them anyways but if other people ask they give them a lecture about the rules, but yet just broke the "rules" two minutes before for someone else.

They also have this "rule" that if an item don't have price tag they won't sell it to you and it has to go back in the back to get priced. They will not do it right then and there for you.... But yet two days before they just gave a lady a price on the item at the counter and she agreed to the price so they sold it to her. But when I ended up in the same situation they never offered me a price. Just refused to...

As a business owner, I don't like to get a bad review, but I have had the same experience too many times at this store to not be upset about the treatment that you get at this store. I love thrift shopping and have shopped at this store for years. Because I own a business myself, I can only shop at this store on Saturday afternoons in the last hour that the store is open. Why do you post that you are open until 4 p.m. when you turn off the lights and try to get people out the door at 3:40 every time? Do you know how much more money I could spend in 20 minutes? Store personnel are not very nice about this when asked, they just want everyone out the door so that they can leave too. Also, all of the sale items that I am interested in are pulled early so I can't even choose from them if I want to. Unless I can shop at a different time, i guess I won't be back in the...

Rude customer service. Went in to ask about a outside wicker set and the lady told me with out a tag she wasn't sure if someone in the store had it or not as she walked away and started checking out customers. I waited patiently on the side to ask her what happens if no one in the store has the tag? Who would price it? Can I put it on hold? Before I could even get a word out, she snaps at me saying sir if it doesn't have a tag I cant sell it to you, I don't price it out. There is nothing I can do. She said this very abruptly and stern. What did I do or say to deserve getting talked to this way? This lady had her nose pierced if anyone wants to know who it was. I will not be shopping here again. Bad customer service. First time being in this store too....
