Not very impressed. I admit, part of my distaste, is the new layout and floor plan. It was very difficult to find anything. Nor did I feel the new layout was shopper friendly. Nothing flowed and different sections of the store; spilled into others. With no clear signage.
Worst section of the store is their new register layout. Extremely poor thought was put into clearly guiding shoppers to the proper register entrance. Small, poorly visible signs. And all registers are self check out. Another cost cutting measure. No human interaction. Just a machine; that you have to wait; until a person can come and fix it.
Overall; if this is the direction, 5 Below is heading in; count me out. Throughout me entire shopping experience; I did not run into a single employee to help. The only interaction I got; was when a single employee showed me; that I had to ring myself out.
I will not shop here again. On the same level of piss poor customer service...
Read moreIâve always loved 5 below however my wife was just in there a few minutes ago wanting to purchase a few items for family members and there is one thing in particular that has said online IN STOCK at this location for the last 3 days. My wife asked where it was or if someone could help her and was greeted and answered with disgusting disrespect and appalling customer service as if she wasnât a paying customer and they didnât work there. I asked my wife if she wanted to just have me order it for pick up AS IT IS IN STOCK and she said no they were so nasty to me I donât want to give them my money. My wife is non confrontational, but I am, and this is absolutely awful to treat anyone like that let alone the literal people who keep your place open thus giving these employees jobs and paychecks. I get that $13 and hour may not suffice everyone but work somewhere else if youâre that miserable and that nasty...
Read moreI recently visited your store and was disappointed by two policies that made the experience frustrating. First, I was charged 35 cents for a bag at checkout. While I understand some retailers charge for bags, the way this was handled felt inconsiderate to customersâespecially in the current economy.
Second, I was not allowed to take the cart to my car, which meant carrying our items by hand through the parking lot. My mother had just come from eating and decided to stop by the store, and this made the situation even more inconvenient.
These two issues together created a poor experience. I hope the 35-cent bag charge and cart restriction are worth the inconvenience to customers, because I wonât be shopping here again. Iâm sharing this feedback in the hope that youâll reconsider these policies or at least communicate them more clearly and offer reasonable...
