Montclair Flowers and Gifts — Local services in Montclair

Every year I order flowers for my daughter. This year she moved to Montclair and I looked for the flower shop online. I found one that I decided to place an order with. I am extremely disappointed with the flowers and delivery. The bouquet does not the one in the picture featured on your website. We ordered the Mixed Roses bouquet, which was supposed to have four different colors, but our bouquet has 3 different colors of roses (I guess whatever was left from Mother’s day). The delivery guy left the flowers with the concierge and did not call the apartment that the flowers were delivered and left with the concierge even though in the special note said: “Call first”. The concierge did not bother to call the recipient and sent only notification that the package had arrived. She said it’s not her job to call- the flower company supposed to call. There was not any surprise at all for my daughter’s birthday and it was stressful for me to figure out what had happened with the flowers. I hope the company in the future will be more caring for the actions because we are ordering the flowers for special occasion and rely on the professionalism of the staff to complete things the correct way. Chad of Montclair Flowers & Gifts was beyond helpful to me. From the start of Chad professionally answering the phone, to him patiently listening to me vent about another florist not delivering what I requested and me being on a hunt for what I wanted as a sympathy plant for my board member. I explained to Chad that I was Looking for an Azelea(which I found out it’s not in season) or another plant that has a lasting plantspan and that I wanted to add tulips to the plant so that it will brighten my board member face once received and any time she looks at the plant. Chad went over what plants he had to offer and his professional opinion after he asked a few questions about the recipient which made me go with a floor plant (Peace Lily) with my added Pink Tulips. Chad executed my request, had the plant delivered on time (it was a rush request since the other florist failed me) with NO additional delivery charge. My board member received her plant in memory of her mom’s passing and called me saying how much she loved the plant and of course how beautiful it is. I’ve been meaning to write a review for Montclair flowers, I start to get emotional when I think of what to say. Chad is amazing and a gem! I came to Chad for my wedding flowers, I presented him with a couple pictures for ideas and Chad went above and beyond what I dreamed of! They turned out so beautiful, and some of the fake flowers he used I kept and place it in my room where I keep my wedding momentos 🙂 then I became pregnant and for the baby shower I turned to Chad again for the flowers. Unfortunately, my baby died just three days before our baby shower. He was turning seven months.. and I called Chad to tell him the news and to see if instead he can make funeral wreaths for a baby boy. And guys, Chad went above and beyond, again. He had bought all the decorations for my baby shower but he didn’t charge me for them, and instead created the most beautiful wreath for my baby boy 🙏🏼 Chad, if you’re reading this, I want to thank you again, for your gentle kindness the morning of the funeral and for always going the extra mile and creating beautiful floral arrangements.
