Nuts Factory — Local services in Montclair

Really disappointed in the Dubai milk chocolate at this location. I usually buy it from the Nuts Factory at Garden State Plaza, where it’s always fresh, smooth, and perfectly stored. This time I went to the Montclair location and was shocked at the difference in quality.

The chocolate was leaking oils or cream from the packaging, and it made an absolute mess when trying to break a piece off. I’m not sure if it was stored too warm or handled improperly, but it was clear something was off. The pieces were breaking apart unevenly, and the texture felt wrong. Nothing like what I’m used to from GSP.

At Garden State Plaza, they refrigerate the chocolate, and while I understand refrigeration may not be required, it clearly makes a difference. This experience felt like a downgrade in every way. I expected the same standard across locations, but unfortunately, Montclair did...

Their Dubai chocolates are good, especially the birthday cake flavor. It's soft and dent easily so good to keep it in the fridge until eaten. Store is clean and well-stocked. Pay counter has some nuts to sample and they were fresh and delicious. There's also a tea and spice section at the back of the store. While store associate was courteous, more training is needed in the area of good customer service. I said that because they ran out of boxes for (pricey) Dubai chocolate. There are many many more empty boxes used for display, but she refused to give one out. Hey, this was holiday season and need the box to gift the fragile chocolate and we're not talking lux Dior level box. Also, would be nice if they mention that Dubai chocolate isn't eligible for new customer...

I love the Nuts Factory !!! The store's vibrant decor and delicious treats are enticing! I purchased gift sets last time I was here, and this time I just enjoyed the scenery!

1st Review The Montclair Nuts Factory opened last week, & their employee Avinash took the time to explain all of the gift products in the store for me to bring to four homes for the Thanksgiving holiday. They come with silver gift bags that I love! The store front is large, open and full of nuts and heavenly desserts.
