Beware if you purchase a car from STG donāt get the service contract . Bought a Kia K5 in April in July all the oil just came out while driving . Took it in two weeks later thatās when they had tine. Turns out itās not under the warranty so they told me oil pan , plug where missing doesnāt cover . Wanted to charge me $913 to do it . My ex had to call and questioned how can an oil pan just come off . Asked for pictures and saw that oil pan was on . Only missing the plug and oil. Brought down price to $300 which is still a lot but they were making us pay $195 for inspection regardless we did the job there or elsewhere. They were trying to rip me off Iām sure cuz Iām a woman . While all along it was not missing anything but a plug. My car has been there two days and now they saying itās expected to be done by Monday . For a damn oil change !! Ridiculous !! If you have your own mechanic. Donāt purchase the service warranty !! Itās $3000 by the way. It only covers major issues but whoās to say they wonāt try to charge you for labor on top of you paying $3000 for the warranty. I see the reviews are not that great from STG service center . Drove almost 2 hours to have their time wasted. when questioning about arrive done to our purchased car I was told ā I had signed off on the services when I bought itā. I trusted them that the service was done and the service department was telling me to look over my paperwork. Took my car some place else to have it serviced and they had said that the oil had not been recently changed.
